Founded almost twenty years ago, Waldeck is fast becoming recognised as one of the UK’s leading mid-sized multi-disciplinary digital engineering, design and risk management consultancies.

▪ Achieving BIM Level 2, our people are producing engineering drawings and schedules for over 4,000 precast concrete elements for London Bridge Station, Costain was awarded Building Magazine’s ‘BIM Initiative of the Year 2013’ for this project using our BIM designs

▪ Providing specialist BIM co-ordination services to Level 2 for mechanical and electrical works on the UK’s largest Energy from Waste facility for Sita at Wilton, enabling ‘real time’ collaborative working

▪ Design and consultancy services for pre-cast works at Whitechapel Station. The design of bespoke fixings were analysed and produced, permitting detail resolution in real time which greatly reduced the design phase of the Crossrail project

Directives have been given that by the end of 2016, all Government Funded projects must be procured on a BIM compliant format.

Waldeck had the foresight to be one of the very early adopters and promoters of BIM and have already accrued several years of major project experience and capability working on some of the largest engineering projects in the UK, which has been recognised by many major industry awards.

Waldeck offer not only a fully integrated design service on BIM, our people also offer specialist BIM Co-ordination Services, because we understand that BIM is most effective when aligned with the project control procedures

and that the handover of a suitable model and data at the agreed milestones is properly integrated which ensures clients get the benefit of risk reduction and certainty of outcome.

Using BIM platforms enables the creation and management of accurately detailed, highly constructible 3D models, regardless of materials or structural complexity. Automatic referencing and clash-detection ensures an efficient, economic and effective high quality project. The models can be used to cover an entire building including all professional disciplines from conceptual design to the fabrication, erection, fit-out and interface into construction management to form a 4D timeline to test programme scenarios and ‘option-eering’.
