2013 Wakulla Children’s Fishing Tournament Saturday, May 18, 2013 Fish out of Panacea Harbor Marina from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with last tournament fleet boat leaving at 8:30 a.m. Weigh-In from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woolley Park in Panacea. No weigh-ins taken later than 2 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS Open to boys and girls ages 3 to 15. The tournament is free to all children and lunch will be provided to all participants from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Woolley Park. Games, rides and exhibitions will be in the park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and trophies and prizes will be awarded after the weigh-in is completed. Fish for Freshwater fish which includes: bass, pan fish and catfish. OR Fish for Saltwater species including: white trout, Speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, redfish, flounder and whiting. All anglers will receive a tournament t-shirt at the registration table. Only children planning to fish on the fleet boats should register at Panacea Harbor Marina. Children fishing from a family or friend’s boat or any other legal fishing site should register at Woolley Park between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Children may fish at Mashes Sands Pier, Otter Lake, Woolley Park or any other legal fishing site. Parents/guardians must sign a release upon child boarding a fleet boat and children age 5 to 8 must be accompanied by only one parent/guardian. A Coast

2013 Wakulla Children’s Fishing Tournament

If you have a rod and reel and/ or a Coast Guard approved life jacket, please bring them as FWC has a limited supply available.

Parent/guardian is responsible for child pickup no later than noon from the marina.

This is an inshore tournament. No offshore or reef species will be weighed. No sharks, rays, hard head or sail catfish will be considered. All eligible fish brought in for the weigh-in must be in season and of legal size.

Tournament may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
