PB4L PB4L is coming - We are at the beginning of this exciting journey.
What is it? Positive Behaviour for Learning.
MATARIKI 2017 Friday 30th June BOIL UP at school. Friday 30th June Matariki themed mufti day. Sunday 2nd July Dawn Viewing 6am @ Bowen town Heads. Followed by hot soup. See you all there! Tuesday 4th July Tapuwae Tournament @ Central School.
BOIL UP Come and celebrate Matariki with our Boil up day tomorrow Friday 30th June - Thanks to all those who help make it happen with kai donations and practical help. Helpers will also be needed from 11am. We still need some donations of plastic bowls and forks. Please let Alex know if you can help.
MUFTI DAY FUNDRAISER
We will be holding a Matariki themed mufti day tomorrow Friday June 30th for a gold coin donation. Fundraising for our Education Outside the Classroom.
HOT DOG LUNCH We will be holding another Hot dog lunch on July 5th. Just hot dogs. $2 each. Drop your order and payment into the office.
DRILLS It is a requirement for schools to hold emer-gency drills so we will be holding the following drills in weeks 9 and 10. FIRE Drill during class time. FIRE Drill during break time. EARTHQUAKE drill during class time. EARTHQUAKE drill during break time . LOCKDOWN drill during class time. LOCKDOWN drill during break time.
STARLAB StarLab visited a few weeks ago and we all had an amaz-ing experience. Please don’t forget to pay $4 per child for our awesome StarLab experience.
MUSIC CONCERT Students on Keyboard, Guitar, Ukulele, Singing and Recorder will perform on Wednesday 5
th of
July at 12pm in the school Library. All welcome.

COMMUNITY NOTICES
FREE EAR CLINIC SERIVICE FOR CHILDREN The caravan will be at Waihi Central School, Moresby Avenue on Friday 16 June 2017. 10-12 and12.45-2pm. Visit the ear nurse for advice on Glue ear assessment and management, Wax/foreign body removal, Grommet checks and treatment of discharging ears. All children must be ac-companied by a caregiver. For enquiries regarding this service please contact 07 838 3565.
Parawai School Golden Jubilee We warmly invite all past pupils, staff, BOT, PTA and parents to join us in celebrating 50 years of education at Parawai Primary School on Friday 27th October and Saturday 28th October 2017.
