We are so glad that you are with us today! Our service will be to praise and worship God and to encourage and uplift us to face another week. We will sing (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16), pray (James 5:15-18), and partake of the Lord’s Supper to remember our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 11:23-26). We will also give back a portion of the monetary blessings that God has granted us so that we can carry out His work in our community (1 Cor. 16:2, 2 Cor. 9:7). We will also study a lesson from His Word that will hopefully be applicable to our daily lives, so that we can be equipped to handle the pressures of this world and reach those outside of Christ
(2 Tim. 2:15).

Cut to the Chase
Here are this week’s verses and questions to study. We hope that you are taking time to study God’s word together as it is essential to study to be fully equipped as Christians. Let’s continue to grow spiritually so that we will be able to stand strong against the evils of this world. The verses here come from the New American Standard Version.
1. Proverbs 15:23 Why would someone receive joy from a quick answer? How quick of an answer is an apt answer? Is the answer here quick at all, or does this something else?
2. Proverbs 15:28What does it mean to ponder how to answer? Does this mean that things we say without thought are bad?
3. Proverbs 15:33How is the fear of the Lord instruction for wisdom? What does this mean? What part does humility play in honor? Which is better, honor or humility?
4. Proverbs 16:2What does this verse imply about how we think about our actions? What impact does this have on how we conduct ourselves in life?
5. Proverbs 16:4What does this mean for our lives? Is there a specific purpose for our lives?
There are several Gospel Meetings posted on the bulletin board!
