WELCOME TO SOUTH MAIN!
You’re invited to be a part of our family as we worship God, encourage one an-
other, and grow spiritually together.
When we meet together, we sing, pray, study the Bible, partake together in the
communion of the Lord's supper, and en-joy great family fellowship.
A fully staffed nursery is available. Ask an usher for assistance.
During AM services, we offer signing for those who are hearing impaired.

THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE
“Why do you call me good? There is none good but one, that is God...with men
this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:17,26
There is only one who is truly good - GOD! Yes, God is good. Furthermore, He is the source of all true good-ness. Doing good is what He does. There is no real goodness apart from God. Goodness is determined by the source. If the source is God, then it’s good. Anything else is not good. It may look good, feel good, taste good, and even be deemed morally good, but if it’s not from God, it’s not good. Genuine goodness is a God thing! That’s why it is very appropriate for Jesus to be called good. After all, He is God incarnate. Jesus, as God in human form, went about doing good (Acts 10:36). When it comes to doing, Jesus is the one who does a good job!
Doing good seems impossible for us as humans. So, what hope is there for any good to come out of your life? Since all things are possible for God, He is our only hope of doing good. Therefore, in order to do good, you must have Christ. The source of all goodness comes to dwell in you upon your obedience to Him. He will help you to go about do-ing good! So, don’t try to do good without Christ. Instead, allow the one who is good to do good through you!
Have a great week! Bob
