Every person is a channel Some good…some bad At school At work At church At home

Your kids watch these “channels” Learn from them Mimic their actions and words Idolize them Grow up to be like them

Change the channel!

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR CHANNEL

Know yourself well enough to know when you are on the “wrong channel” in your behavior. 2 Corinthians 13:5 – test yourself!

Know God’s expectations so that you can identify the “wrong channel.” 2 Timothy 3:14-15 – sacred writings of wisdom

If you are struggling with sin, stop watching the “temptation stations.”

Don’t be afraid to ask other people to “change the channel” when they set a poor example

And don’t be surprised when other people who hear this lesson tell you later that you need to “change the channel” too!
