Curry Potluck!
Saturday March 24 at 6:00 we’re having another curry potluck at the club. This is open to all Members and Guests.
We’ll have plenty of rice, but admission is one pot of curry and a serving spoon. (Last time we wound up serving with slot-ted spoons that missed much of the sauce.)
Naan, chutney, or other appropriate South and Southeast Asian dishes are also wel-come.

WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS Chris and Allison Sico-
nolfi and their children Jake and Kiley
Chris and Allison met in 2000 in San Francisco both work-
ing in the wine and spirits industry, and married 4 years
later.
They both grew up close to water - Allison in Huntington,
Long Island and Chris in Long Beach in Southern Califor-
nia. They decided it was time to start their family and
bought their first home in Pacifica in 2005, feeling the coast
was the perfect place to raise their family.
Their son Jake is 6 and Kiley turns 1 on April 11th. They also
have a lovely peekapoo dog "Brookie" who just turned 9,
and being a 75% toy poodle, the beach is her favorite place
in the world!
Please join me in welcoming the Siconolfi family to HMBYC.
Chris is very interested in Guest Cheffing - so I am sure we
will be enjoying his good food one Friday night soon!
CALLING ALL ARTISTS - we need to choose colors, names and designs for the Optimists!
The first 3 optimist dinghies are nearing completion! The last task will be painting and at-
taching the hull fittings (like buoyancy bags, hiking straps, mainsheet block, mast step &
gudgeons!).
In order to purchase the paint and vinyls we will need to agree on a color, name and any
designs that might be required. The boat being funded by Women Sailing seems to have
narrowed down the name to a list of 3 or 4 - but we still need to decide on color and any de-
sign features
Please use the outline above to design your entry for consideration
Please submit all entries - either by email to [email protected] or by post to PO Box
52, El Granada CA, 94018 - or put in the Membership Inbox in the Port Captain's Office no
later than March 26th
Some ideas on the pictures above.
