Hotel in Worcester.This is the sixth year that

your Worcester News hasorganised the event inconjunction with the hotel, inCity Walls Road andeverything it is set to be anexciting day.

Fownes Hotel in the veryheart of Worcester is theperfect venue for couples totie the knot in style.

Assistant manager JulieMerrick said: “I am veryexcited about the fact I amgoing to meet so many futurebrides and grooms – and amsure it is going to be a greatday.”

The hotel has a licence tohold civil ceremonies, sobrides and grooms have theopportunity to check it out asa venue for their ceremonyand reception while they arevisiting the bridal fair.

It can arrange receptions forany number of people andthere is a picturesque spot in

the grounds for taking thoseall-important photographs.

Sara Matthews, eventsmanager for the WorcesterNews, said: “We are reallylooking forward to thepopular event which will bepacked with exhibitors.Brides and grooms-to-be, whoregister their details whenthey arrive at the hotel, willalso be in with a chance ofwinning prizes.

“They could be the luckywinner of a tiara andjewellery, or scoop amakeover. Other prizes onoffer include car hire andvouchers.”

This year’s event starts at11am on Sunday, February 10,and finishes at 3.30pm. Boththe event and parking is free.

She said: “Once the couplehave registered the weddinglist we handle the free deliveryand gift wrap.”

Mrs Lockyer said: “I love theindividual approach. I find lotsof young brides do not knowthe ins-and-outs, they are veryaware that some of our range isquite expensive, so we gothrough the range with them.

“Then when someone phonesup to order we advise them on

what they should buy.”But what if at the end of the

wedding the couple have anincomplete list?

Mrs Lockyer said manycouples receive money as a
