9 am: Call to order and roundtable introductions. Bring a brief (2-3 minute update about your

summer season)

9:30-10:30 SCORP with Ed O’Leary. Ed will be talking about the role that the Council can play in the

development of the SCORP revision. He will also discuss the implications and impact the plan has on

statewide trails.

10:30-11:00 Vermont Trail Ethics with Amy Kelsey. We have integrated the Vermont Trail Ethics into

the revised VTGC website, what next?

11:00-12:00 4th Annual Trail Symposium with Walter Opuszynski. Topics to discuss:

12:00-12:45 Lunch: Provided by the fine folks at Seyon Ranch, bound to be delicious. Cost will be

$10. Please RSVP that you will be purchasing lunch by August 15th.

1:00-1:45 Communications with FPR-Jessica Ricketson. The Executive Committee met with FPR

Commissioner Snyder on July 12th to discuss ways to efficiently communicate with FPR and a

structure for reporting recreation trail matters to the VT legislation.

1:45-2:30 Establishing a committee structure for VTGC-Walter Opuszynski. To be efficient as a

council and engage members we will be establishing a committee structure for the following areas:

Outreach, Membership, Fundraising, Website, and FPR Relations. Think about where you can be the

most effective.

2:30-3:00 Roundtable discussion. Answer this question to the group: What benefits do I find in

participation with the VTGC?

3:00-4:00 First annual VTGC Rowboat Race. You will need a partner. Participation will depend on

weather and fishing activity on the pond.
