Hair Extension Trainer, Ad-

vanced Trainers Skills, Leader-

ship Coaching Skills, Public

Relations Boot

camp and

Megan arrived with

her Fiancé and stayed

at the prestigious

Henry VII hotel in Lon-

don. Training by day

and sight seeing some

evenings when she

wasn't too tired she

completed her Hair ex-

tension trainers course

over 10 working days.

Megan stated that “the

reason I came to the

UK was because we don't have any training

like this in Canada and with the IAO accredita-

tion, she can confirm that she received world

class training”

Georgina her trainer said “Megan was very

practical and knew what she wanted to accom-

plish and she did, we are very proud of her and

will give her all the support she needs”

Caroline arrived from South Africa

specifically to take four courses. Two from the

hair extension department Professional Lace

wig application and removal and the Integrated

Weave technique so that she could set up her

business in South Africa where she said there

are still challenges.

She decided to also take

two other courses, Pub-

lic Relations Boot camp

which was delivered by

Karen Master VTF in a

one day course and

Leadership Coaching

Skills. Caroline was so

proud and said “I learnt

so much, it will help me

with my business and especially the SMART

concept which will help me with decision mak-

ing” she said she will be back with more stu-

dents because she found the way we delivered

the courses easy to understand, enjoyable and

above all professional.

Other students:

We have had other

students taking our

courses in Zimbabwe

New Orleans and

Turkey.

Dr. Dews flew in from Cambodia two weeks

ago, we had intended to discuss the plans for

take off, when we would be planning for the

1400 students who would be coming to the UK

and the remaining 8,000 studying online. Un-

fortunately they have lost their head of faculty

for Hotel & Tourism.

He his in the UK recruiting and once appointed

we will be back on track.

Welcome to the first VTF

newsletter!

Like many of you—I am com-

ing to understand the phrase

“Patience is a Virtue”.

It has been three long years

since I began the development

of AVPT, our Learning Management System, imple-

mentation of a troublesome Resourcing system

(which was not done at the same time as the LMS sys-

tem) Slowly building our resources of qualified VTF

to deliver both online and workshop courses and put

in place the processes and staff needed to ensure as

smooth an operation. Talk about Chicken & Egg

scenario's!

I console myself with these words: “Courage and per-

severance make difficulties disappear and obstacles

vanish”

Exhausted but excited, it is like having your hands on

the handbrake whilst the wheels are spinning and

aching to be set free!

We are almost there and like another old time saying

goes, “Go confidently in the Direction of your

Dreams!” Pressing On….

Megan & Caroline completed five courses in two weeks with AVPT

Megan received her certifi-

cate presented by Dr Phillip

Dews outside the prestigious

Athenaeum Club.
