The Volvo V70 simply defies categorisation. It drives like a

class-leading saloon – with some of the most impressive

engines in its class. It feels like a luxury saloon, yet people

still insist it’s the best large estate on the market. Don’t

worry if you can’t decide either – this price list should help

you find the V70 that’s exactly right for you.

T5The T5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder engine

delivers outstanding performance – producing 260 PS

and 350 Nm torque. This powerful engine features

variable valve timing on the exhaust side and a responsive

turbocharger designed to deliver maximum torque across

most engine speeds. The high charge air pressure in the

turbo means extra power at high revs – this is an engine

to inspire active driving.

D5The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder, common

rail diesel engine delivers very low fuel consumption and

CO2 emissions with excellent performance – producing

185 PS and 400 Nm torque. This extremely advanced

diesel engine is made entirely of aluminium giving it a

similar weight to a petrol engine. This advanced design

combined with third-generation electronic common rail

fuel injection, variable blade turbocharger and a diesel

particulate filter makes it one of the cleanest and most

advanced diesel engines available on the market. A 2.4D

version with 163 PS is also available.

BI-FUELAs part of Volvo’s total commitment to the environment,

the V70 Bi-Fuel engine enables you to benefit from the

lower cost of CNG(ii) and reduce harmful emissions to the

atmosphere.
