YOUNGLEADERSSOCIETY

The Young Leaders Society (YLS) is United Way of Central New Mexico’s young professional affinity group.

YLS members are compassionate and committed individuals on a mission to encourage the spirit of philanthropy and volunteerism among their peers.

The Young Leaders Society Initiative Fund is focused on assisting, inspiring and empowering youth (13-18) to transition into adulthood and develop into our future leaders.

YLS members are 42 years of age or younger who give an annual household gift of at least $500. Young Leaders know how to combine community impact with exciting fundraising and networking events while changing the story for children and families.

The Hispano Philanthropic Society (HPS) has a mission to identify and recognize local Hispanic leaders in philanthropy. HPS is engaged in promoting Hispanics as advocates, volunteers, and contributors to help build stronger, healthier neighborhoods and communities.

Membership is extended to individuals or couples who contribute to the United Way of Central New Mexico with a combined household gift of $1,000 or more or are concurrently members of Young Leaders Society.

HPS members also raise money for their HPS Middle School Education Initiative Fund which focuses on empowering middle school youth (5th – 9th grade) to reach their highest human potential.

United Way of Central New Mexico’s Tocqueville Society members give an annual household gift of $10,000 or more.

Tocqueville members gather at educational meetings and social events throughout the year to learn about and discuss the challenges and opportunities in our community.

Tocqueville donors can organize and simplify their charitable giving with a Personal Philanthropy Account and professional, personalized service from our Tocqueville Society staff.
