CINCO DE MAYO F E L L O W S H I P D I N N E R
WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH
6:00 PM
Please join us Wednesday, May 4th at
6:00 pm as we celebrate our Cinco De
Mayo Fellowship Dinner here at KHCC.
All Sunday School classes are invited to
participate. Each class is asked to set up
a booth and provide a special dish.
Donations from the dinner will go to
Casa Esperanza “House of Hope” the
wonderful ministry we have here at
Kings Highway Christian Church. Casa
Esperanza is a lodging space for the
families of children being treated at
Shriners Hospital. We do not just
provide a living space for these families,
we do everything we can to make them
truly feel at home. Casa Esperanza
helps the children and their parents
relax and take a break from living in a
hospital.

BLOOD DRIVE MAY 1ST
8:30 - 12:30 pm KHCC FELLOWSHIP HALL
DONTATE One in three people will need blood at some time in their life. When someone in the communities we serve needs blood, it is our responsibility to have it safe and readily available. The only way we can do that is through your do-nations. With no substitute for human blood, volunteer blood donations saves lives right here in our community every day. If you can give blood, please do. If you can’t, please encourage and support others who can and help spread the word.

This month we are focusing on Working for the Lord. As we have mentioned previously, there are numerous ways to do just that through our church by joining a committee, volunteering at the High-land Blessings Dinner or teaching a Sunday school. If those activities don’t appeal to you, there is yet another great opportunity to work for the Lord in May when we will have our rescheduled workday. Everyone is welcome to come and lend a hand with cleaning up the green space next door to the church. The space will benefit members of the church and the community. Come and enjoy fellowship, work, and good food.
