SPECIAL FEATURE:-

The Anglican Services in Cuttack commenced in the

year 1827. At that time there were only Britishers

and the Services were held in the Circuit House. The

present Anglican Church on the Cantonment Road

was constructed in the year1868. Ever since then,

the services are held regularly in the Church. The

first Priest, Dr. Claviu Buchanan D.D.visited Cuttack

in the year 1806.

From 1827 to 1946, the Chaplains were residents. From 1947 the Priests used to come from

Calcutta Diocese once a month and conduct the Holy Communion Services. After the

formation of the C.N.I., the Church of the Epiphany has become an integral part of the

C.N.I. and the Diocese of Cuttack.

This church is situated besides Christ College Cuttack. On the eve of BADADIN( 25th

December) people come in a large number to this place for celebration.
