YOUR 6 BIGGEST EYE CONCERNS, SOLVED!

1DRYNESS Seek out super hydrat- ors like Hydresia for time-released moistur- ization. Try Anti-Aging Complex Eye Cream.

3 DARKNESS Help combat dark undereye circles with Vitamin C and Licorice Root Extract. Try Brilliant-C Eye Cream.

6 PREMATURE AGING The sun is responsible for most of the aging that appears around the eyes. That’s why it’s important to use an eye cream with SPF every day. Try Anti-Aging Complex Eye Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 15.

2 PUFFINESS Choose anti-inflammatory and cooling ingredients like Sea Whip and Cucumber Extracts. Try Revitalizing Eye Gel.

4 FINE LINES & WRINKLES Target and smooth out fine lines around the eyes with peptides like Argireline. Try Wrinkle Smoother Eye.

5 SENSITIVE EYES Select formulations that do NOT contain colorants, alcohols, dyes, formalde- hyde, fragrance, oil, parabens or phthalates. Try Gentle Solutions Eye Cream.

Identifying your eye concerns is easy. Finding the best solution to treat them? Not so much. Use this eye cream guide to take away the guesswork.

Are your circles blue? This is caused by oxygenated blood gathering underneath the eye; neutralize them with a warm yellow color corrector such asCover Up Soft Yellow.

Are your circles brown? They are more likely genetic, from rubbing your eyes too much or too much sun exposure. Counteract them by using a cool lilac color correctorsuch as Cover Up Lilac.

USE COLOR TO CONCEAL AND CORRECT DARK UNDEREYE CIRCLES

DO apply slightly less than a pea-sized amount.

DO apply eye cream around the orbital bone — the bone surrounding your eyes, including above and in between brows.

DO tap or very gently massage it in with the tips of your ring finger as it has the lightest touch.

DO let your eye cream completely sink in for about a minute to ensure that your concealer or powder won’t cake up.

DO’S & DON’TS OF EYE CREAM APPLICATION

DON’T apply it beyond the orbital bone or directly on eyelids.

YOUR EYE-DEAL SHADESInstead of wearing a Shadow Stick that matches your iris, it’s best to look directly across the color wheel to really intensify your natural eye color.

BLUE: Rich, warm colors are the perfect contrast to cool blue eyes.

GREEN: The color wheel opposite for green eyes is red, which is why they look beautiful in shades of burgundy and pink.

BROWN: Richly hued eyes are comple-mented by blue. Also try shades of green and purple.

BLINK & YOU’RE BRIGHTER HOW TO WEAR COLORED MASCARA

Give your black mascara the day off and put some wow in your wink. Try Wicked Lash Mascara Brown for the perfect everyday shade while Sapphire makes the whites of the eyes look clearer and brighter.

• Wear it on just the tips of lashes or layer it over black to soften the color.

• Instead of applying black all over, work brown mascara on lower lashes and black on top.

• Apply a layer of Mascara Primer first, then follow with a few swipes of colorful mascara. The white base of the primer will amp up the mascara’s hue!

Liner is getting in on the fun, too!Add a vibrant burst of color to your basic black. Thickly apply black liner close to lash line, trace a bright shade such as Soft Touch Eye Pencil Ocean Blue above it.

Hue knew? A cat eye doesn’t have to be black! Try a winged look using a striking green such as Soft Touch Eye Pencil Peacock.

“Never ask a girl with a winged liner why she’s late.” — Unknown (but wise indeed)
