Overview

The Teknomega Ω Block range is a complete range of distribution blocks including:

1 & 3 pole compact distribution blocks. 1 & 2 pole quick distribution blocks. 2 & 4 pole distribution blocks.

The range covers units from 40 amps to 400 amps for use in electronic switchboards, automation and control panel boards as well as distribution panel boards. All of the Ω Block distribution range have been specifically designed to be easily fitted on DIN Rail and/or bottom plate.

Ω Block - 1 & 3 Pole Compact Distribution Blocks

The Ω Block single pole compact distribution blocks are rated for applications from 80 amps up to 400 amps whilst the Ω three pole blocks are rated from 125 amps to 160 amps. These terminal blocks are suitable for use in applications where the effective short-circuit current value is kept within 10kA. Wiring operation is made easy due to the front protection cover that can be either opened or removed completely as well as the guided access for cables. The blocks also have a milled clamp used for indirectly tightening the input connection giving a highly reliable connection as well as allowing for the use of flat conductors such as flexible and rigid bars.

Ω Block - 1 & 2 Pole Quick Distribution Blocks

These blocks are unipolar and bipolar terminal blocks rated at 80 amps. They are stackable with interlocking coupling elements and use a simple but effective spring tightening system for output connections ensuring that the wiring process is efficient and safe. The system uses a steel spring with a copper contact to give a highly reliable and stable connection with both rigid stripped cable and cable with ferrule.

Distribution Blocks

Ω Block - 2 & 4 Pole Distribution Blocks

The Ω Block two and four pole distribution block range is rated from 40 amps up to 160 amps for applications in which the effective short circuit current value is kept within 10kA. The 2 and 4 pole terminal blocks are easy to fit on DIN Rail or plate and are supplied with clear protective screens between each of the phases and at the bottom of the terminal block. The block also has a transparent front protection screen that is removable to allow for the tightening of the connections. We also have the new 4 pole modular up & down distribution block, rated at 160 amps, this block allows the user to simply manage situations in which the installer must satisfy articulated mounting needs within a tight space, for example in situation where there are too many input and output wires to place them all on one side of the block.

I Didn’t Know That!!! Because the movie Halloween (1978) was on such a tight budget, they had to use the cheapest mask they could find for the character Michael Meyers, which turned out to be a William Shatner Star Trek mask purchased for $2.

The largest pumpkin ever measured was grown by Norm Craven, who broke the world record in 1993 with a 836 lb. pumpkin.

The first Jack O’Lanterns were actually made from turnips.

Samhainophobia  is  the  fear  of  Halloween  (Bonus  points  if  you  can pronounce it correctly).

According  to  tradition,  if a person wears his or her clothes  inside out and then walks backwards on Halloween, he or she will see a witch at midnight.

Stephen  Clarke  holds  the  record  for  the world’s  fastest  pumpkin  carving time: 24.03  seconds,  smashing his previous  record of 54.72  seconds.  The rules of  the  competition  state  that  the pumpkin must weigh  less  than 24 pounds  and  be  carved  in  a  traditional way, which  requires  at  least  eyes, nose, ears, and a mouth.

A sales-woman is driving home in the rain when she sees a little old lady walking by the roadside, heavily laden with shopping. Being a kindly soul, the sales-woman stops the car and invites the old lady to climb in. During their small talk, the old lady glances surreptitiously at a brown paper bag on the front seat between them. "If you are wondering what's in the bag," offers the sales-woman, "It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband." The little old lady is silent for a while, nods several times, and says........ "Good trade."

Albert and Bernard just became friends with Cheryl, and they want to know when her birthday is. Cheryl gives them a list possible dates.

May 15, May 16, May 19 June 17, June 18 July 14, July 16 August 14, August 15, August 17

Cheryl then tells Albert and Bernard separately the month and the day of her birthday.

Albert: I don’t know when Cheryl’s birthday is, but I know that Bernard does not know too. Bernard: At first I didn’t know when Cherly’s birthday is, but I know now. Albert: Then I also know when Cheryl’s birthday is.

Let’s go through it line by line.

Line 1)Albert: I don’t know when Cheryl’s birthday is, but I know that Bernard doesn’t know too. Albert knows the month, and every month has more than one possible date, so he doesn’t know when her birthday is. The only way that Bernard could know the date with a single number, would be if Cheryl had told him 18 or 19, since of the ten options only these numbers appear once, as May 19 and June 18. For Albert to know that Bernard does not know, Albert must therefore have been told July or August, since this rules out Bernard being told 18 or 19.

Line 2) Bernard: At first I don’t know when Cheryl’s birthday is, but now I know. Bernard has deduced that Albert has either August or July. If he knows the full date, he must have been told 15, 16 or 17, since if he had been told 14 he would be none the wiser about whether the month was August or July. Each of 15, 16 and 17 only refers to one specific month, but 14 could be either month.

Line 3) Albert: Then I also know when Cheryl’s birthday is. Albert has therefore deduced that the possible dates are July 16, Aug 15 and Aug 17. For him to now know, he must have been told July. Since if he had been told August, he would not know which date for certain is the birthday. The answer, therefore is July 16.
