“Many beautiful things cannot be seen or touched; they are felt within the

heart.” This quote aptly describes the way I feel about this community’s gener-

ous support and love. As always, I am grateful to friends and family who helped

me through this trying time. Your flowers, cards, and never-ending words of

kindness will live in my heart forever. Although 2014 got off to a slow and trying

beginning, I am so happy to share that I am healing well. Let me share with you

the same kindness you have all shared with me. Stop in for a coffee sometime;

my door is always open! Louise Agar

Sage Grouse Recovery - There has been a group formed to try and reverse

the recent actions taken by the federal government regarding the Sage Grouse.

Our goals are to rescind the Emergency Protection Order (EPO); rescind the

Strategy for the Sage Grouse; rescind the Species At Risk Act (SARA); replace

them with something that is more workable for all industries that they affect.

This is a very short version of what we are trying to do. If you want more infor-

mation please feel free to contact me.

If you would like to support us, we have petitions; they will be in Consul at the

RM office, Dave Manley’s and Southline. Letters to MP David Anderson and

MLA Wayne Elhard would be very helpful, as well as the federal ministers.

This action is just the tip of the iceberg. There are 13 additional species in the

south that are at risk. Randy Stokke

that positive experiences for young children continue to help them

throughout their lives. High quality early learning programs not only pro-

vide positive outcomes for children now, but also impact their develop-

ment and influence their attitudes towards learning for the rest of

their lives.

To learn more about high quality programming, a display including docu-

mentation of the children’s learning through play-based activities, Minis-

try of Education’s brochures and information sheets will be made avail-

able for you these upcoming weeks at the Credit Union.
