Tim Anderson, DVMBoard of Directors President

Welcome to out winter newsletter. As 2021 starts, we are all hopeful that it will be better for us than 2020 was. The shelter has continued to operate at full steam most of the time taking care of the many pets that need forever homes. I’m excited to announce that Phase 1 of our major HVAC project is now complete and we are on to Phase 2. There are three different phases on the project to allow us to be able to still operate the shelter in a semi-normal fashion. This is the largest building renovation we have done since the building was originally bought and remodeled in 2006, so it has been a big undertaking, but will be well worth it for the health of our pets. Lastly, please be on the alert for information about our upcoming auction on Friday, March 5th. As with almost everything, due to COVID we are unable to have an in-person dinner and auction like we normally do, but we have been able to come up with a great on-line alternative. It will certainly be different, but will still be a great time with plenty of entertainment. Please join us on-line if you are able to and invite as many friends and family as you can.
