YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!! The Veterans Homeless Shelter IS IN NEED OF

sweatshirts, T-Shirts, sweatpants, socks, underwear,  BOTTLES OF WATER AND SNACK foods!!

Last month , we donated 3 fidget mats and walker bars the Arizona State Veterans Home for their walking carts. When I asked how many do you need, 70 was the answer! So, I am working on that order and

I have about 30 more to take over.  Also, something new fidget poppers. This is a popper, so fun to just sit and pop and repop. Poppers are fun for the Fidget Blankets, I found them at Joann’s Fab

ric Store and online. We continue to provide fried chicken dinners to the Blind Rehab Center for 20 men and women, with dessert. December will be busy as we will be getting ready for

the Christmas events. Please Help~ Always something to do.

¨ The Veterans’ Hospital is always in need of SNACKS for the Vets: individually packaged chips, nuts, crackers, cookies, juices, jerky, WATER bottles, etc.!!

¨ The Veterans’ Homeless Center is in NEED of Boxer Shorts (medium & large) and white T-Shirts (medium & large).

~ A collection box is setup at the Lodge. ~ All donations are immensely appreciated!

The Crafty Critters Group has raised cash by making adult bibs, aprons, potholders, and other items for sale.

December 2021 HELP IS NEEDED!!!

As we approach the shorter days of winter, surely we can band together & make some of the most needed items for our Veterans and Children in Need. The Season of Giving is upon us. Through all the hard work, countless hours donated, the Crafty Critters are in dire need of additional people to help as they give all year round. ~ Pillowcases, Bibs, Walker Caddies, Fidget Blankets, etc… when you work as a group it amazing how much more can get done! If you would like to help, Teen has great patterns that do not take that much time. If you have questions or would like to be a part of this FUN group, leave a message for Teen Morgan on the Lodge voicemail: 520-299-5105.

The State President’s Motto: “BE PROUD OF ELKDOM”

WE ARE THE ARIZONA ELKS Founded in 1910, the Arizona Elks Association mission is the same today as it was then -- to provide service to our communities and country. We have taken on two ``Major Projects`` that help us support that very mission. In 1992, The Arizona Elks and Arizona Elks Major Projects took on the Steele Children's Research Center as it's first project to provide funding to. This support has facilitated incredible research and helped their physician-scientists and researchers make new discoveries, teach the next generation of scientists and heal the children of Arizona and beyond. The Elks Pediat-ric Clinic sees over 65,000 children a year! Our second passion project is the Jack C. Warter Elks Youth camp located 40 miles northeast of Globe, Arizona, on Workman Creek in the Sierra Ancha Mountain Range. This youth camp is open to all youth groups free of cost!
