The Project SEARCH Advisory Committee meets monthly to receive updates on the interns’ progress. The agencies discuss services they offer to provide the neces-sary supports and resources to allow a smooth transition into the work force. The Project SEARCH Advisory Committee is an integral component to the accomplish-ments of Project SEARCH. This committee fosters continuity between the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, and adult services at Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Office of Developmental Programs. We are grateful to the committee members, their programs and valuable resources shared to ensure the success of Pennsylvania’s first recognized Project SEARCH High School Transition Program.
