Who Can Play?IF
you have a physical injury or disability that causes measurable and observable limitation to movement
and in particular the core actions of volleyball,OR
You are hard of hearing, deaf, use a hearing aid or use an Auslan or sign interpreter
THEN you may be eligible to play D-Volleyball and you
should seek further information
Sitting & Standing Volleyball
An injury or disability that affect a persons ability to move,
Reduced limb length, such as amputation, shortening from birth or injury
Reduced Range of Movement in one or more major joints, caused by trauma, surgery or present since birth
Reduced muscle power / strength caused by severe fractured, joint injury, trauma or nerve damage to arms, legs or spine
Movement related coordination from Cerebral Palsy or Brain Injury
Joint Replacement of knee or hip, severe instability of knee caused by severe ligament injury (sitting volleyball only)
Deaf Volleyball
Any amount of hearing loss eligible within Australia
Any cause of loss of hearing Internationally require at least 55 dB loss
