It is a good idea to try and find out a bit about Pompeii before you go, to help you understand what happened. There is a BBC film on Clickview which you could watch,(Science/Chemistry/Pompeii) and I have just finished reading a really good book…Pompeii by Richard Harris, now available in the school library. Well worth a look.

The school has requested that we produce a record of the trip for future publications and we have asked the students to provide us with at least ONE memorable photo. Please encourage your daughter to think about this and about how she would like to remember this trip.

We will also be giving the girls each an activities book to fill in which will hopefully be interesting to look back on once the trip is over.

Thank you for coming this evening.
