MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD AT OUR CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS Every year for the entire month of April, NSA Bethesda's Child and Youth Programs celebrate "The Month of the Military Child" with a variety of activities relating to a central theme. This year we have decided to celebrate fairy tales. The staff will be decorating both centers to set the stage for the event. Each classroom will choose a fairy tale to bring to life. We will have storybooks and various activities to support the fantasy. Parents are invited to join us for the fun and for our Fairy Tale Luncheon on Thursday, April 30.
April 6 -10 STAR WALL-Parents and child pictures will be put on stars and
placed on the wall.
April 13 -17 READ ALOUD-Parents are invited to read/tell a story about their
favorite childhood fairy tale.
April 20-24 ART ACTIVITY-Parents are invited to make crowns with their
children. (Preschool and Toddlers)
April 21-24 PHOTO BOOTH- Infants, Pre-Toddlers, and Toddlers will take
pictures.
April 27-29 PRINCE & PRINCESS BALL-The ballroom will be in building 26.
Each Preschool class will have the opportunity to participate in the ball. Photos will be taken after the ball.
April 30 FAIRY TALES COME ALIVE!- Parents are invited to celebrate our
Toddlers and Preschoolers performing skits, songs, or dances starting at 0930.
