Today February 6, 2018, we fondly remember MrC.L. Chumber on his 2nd anniversary. His contribution towards the legacy of the Ad Dharmmovement in the form of his well-documentedwritings is praiseworthy. He published a souveniron the Ad Dharm and the role of Babu ManguRam Mugowalia Ji in the awakening of Dalit consciousness in pre-partition Punjab. The righttribute to Mr C. L. Chumber Sahib will be to reproduce his writings in a series of columns inAmbedkar Times and Desh Doaba weekly newspapers. We soon begin serializing the samein our newspapers.

Committee honoredHardial Singh Banga for the Gu-rughar KAR SEWA. HardialBanga and Kulwant Banga reno-vated the 2150 Crestview Build-ing (Mata Kalsan Langar Hall).All the windows around thebuilding were replaced and wholebuilding has a new coat ofstucco and paint. The landscap-ing has been changed. Some ofthe doors have also beenchanged. They did whatever re-pairs were needed at their ownexpense. We are appreciative oftheir dedication and hard work.Bhai Charan Dass Banga deco-rated Gurughar with the help ofParas Ram and some other

volunteers.We are thankful to San-

tokh Madhar for painting the Gu-rughar from inside. He workedfor 5-6 days cleaning and gettingGurughar ready for this celebra-tion with Ramesh Ralh, GianSal-han, BalwantSalhan, JagtarBhatia and Prem Lal.
