TRAINING CAMPS RSET offers training and coaching camps for various sports, especially the priority disci-plines of Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball and Athletics. For getting proper match experi-ence in various events we are conducting practice matches .By giving them systematic training they will know how to prepare properly for the competitions to maximize performance and prevent injury.

ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET The 14th Annual Athletic Meet for the year 2018-2019 was a grand success. With each pass-ing year the level of competition becomes more intense and stronger, and as regards the standard of the Sports Meet. The Chief Guest Sri.Ijas P Ismail, Former Indian Badminton Player arrived at 9.00 am and the meet commenced with the welcome. It was followed by the customary opening prayer by our S6 students. The meet began with the opening march past. It was led by Aryans House fol-lowed by Mugals House who were in turn followed by Rajputs House followed by Spartans House and last Vikings House. Days of practice for the march past had brought us to perfection. The solemn oath taking ceremony led by Sports secretary Mr. Tinoy Atly, followed by the lighting of the Torch by the five sports person set the tone for the competition. The Chief Guest declared the Meet open Track events starts with the 800m and 400m races for men and women respectively. The students cheering for their house-mates.The individual championships bagged by Mr. Paul Joy of Mughals and Stephy Romichan of Vikings .The Overall Champions and Runners Up are Aryans & Mughals. The prize distributions were held by Rev. Fr. Joyal George Pullolil CMI. The Meet finally closed with the singing of the National Anthem.

▶ Rejeesh T Chacko,Asst.Professor in Physical Education Published a Paper on “ An Impact of Different Intensity of Strength training program on Speed Performance among college men Soccer Players “in INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH - Volume 07 ,Issue 01 Jan-uary 2018.[ISSN No.2277-8179].

▶ Rejeesh T.Chacko,Asst.Professor in Physical Education Participated the Two day National Sem-inar on “ A Life of Wellness ,Food Habits and Yoga in Vogue” Organized by Directorate of Collegiate Education,Govt.of Kerala at Govt.College ,Tripunithura from 11th to 12th January 2018.

▶ Rejeesh T.Chacko, Asst.Professor in Physical Education Presented a Paper entitled “Effect of Combined Asana Pranayama Practice and SAQ Training on VO2 Max of College Soccer Players “in two day National Conference on Yoga for World Peace conducted by Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vid-hyalaya,Maruthi College of Physical Education,Coimbatore from 26th to 27th February 2018.

▶ Rejeesh T.Chacko,Asst.Professor in Physical Education Presented a Paper on “Effect of Plyo-metric Training and Weight Training Program on Leg Strength and Explosive Power among Wom-en Volleyball Players” in the“ International Conference on Sports Vision and Mission for Grooming Athletes and Para Athletes for Olympics -2020”,Organized by Alagappa University College of Physical Education and Para Sports Centre,Karaikudi-Tamilnadu from 16th to 17th March 2018.

▶ Rejeesh T.Chacko,Asst.Professor in Physical Education Presented a Paper on “ Effect of Physi-cal Education Combined Asana Pranayama Practice and SAQ Training on VO2 Max of College Soccer Players”, in the Two Day International Conference on “ Curriculum and Instructional Designing for Global Education, Organized by Department of Education,Alagappa University ,Karaikudi -Tamil-nadu from 26th to 27th March 2018.
