District Governors December Newsletter
Fellow Lions, The Christmas Season is fast approaching, with club Christmas Parties, and preparing Christmas
Hampers and toys for those in need.
Again, I would like to thank all the clubs I have visited to date. The hospitality extended to myself and PCC Peter
has been wonderful. Only one more official visit before Christmas, and then I will have visited ½ of the clubs in
the District. I have met some new lions on my travels and of course renewed old friendships.
This month, I had the pleasure of inducting 16 new members. I want to personally thank all the clubs who have
added new members to date. Keep up the great work.
I would like to thank Lion Sandra Zwicker for the work she had done for the Peace Poster Contest. The winning
entry has been sent to the next level.
I have one visit this month – Lake Echo on Dec 7th .
When you complete your Christmas Projects, remember to take some time to reflect on what you have done this
year, and think about what you would like to accomplish for the remainder of the year. But most importantly,
spend some quality time with family and friends.
PCC Peter & I would like to wish each and every Lion and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy
and prosperous New Year.
Namaste Lions.
Yours in Lionism,
DG Rhonda
