Grace Church is committed to teaching children about God and pointing them to Jesus Christ for salvation. Few things illustrate this commitment better than Vacation Bible School. Even in a year of uncertainty in the world, the Lord enabled us to hold this landmark event, reaching our children with the gospel and serving our families through fellowship. Although VBS 2020 looked quite different than past years, the opportunity for gospel impact was just as real. Every one of these precious kids finished the week having heard the good news of Jesus Christ. This year’s theme was “VBS with Ranger Joe,” an extension of the video series we started a few months ago. The entire curriculum was centered around Jesus’ parable of the lost son in Luke 15. The Ranger Joe episodes, the teaching, and the crafts all reinforced the theological themes related to this important story. Each day walked the kids through the truths of temptation, sin, consequences, and salvation, culminating in God’s joy in saving the lost. The kids also enjoyed God-honoring music and participated in fun, high-energy games. Another exciting feature of this year was online VBS, which made the entire program available to families around the world. Every component that was offered on campus was also offered online through high-quality videos and downloadable resources. VBS 2020 was definitely a week to remember! It was a wonderful time for God’s people to come together as a church and serve our children and their parents. This Vacation Bible School was an encouraging demonstration of our church’s commitment to evangelism and fellowship. We hope that as Grace Church moves forward in 2020, you’ll join us in celebrating this opportunity to proclaim a God who saves sinners who turn from sin to our gracious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Job OpportunityGMI Accountant. Accounting has a full-time opening for an accountant for Grace Ministries International. Duties include maintaining the general ledger, preparing journals, processing payroll, administering grants, and preparing financial reports in Excel format. Additional duties include acting as a liaison with Short-Term Ministries, and general office work as assigned. Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in the field or related area. Strong Excel skills an advantage, basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts and practices are required.
