“Pursuant to the ...internal rules of theSupreme Court, thecourt en banc resolvesto accept (the case)and to take cog-nizance thereof. Thecourt en banc furtherresolves to recall theresolution dated Sept.7, 2011, issued by theSecond Division in
this case,” ananghukuman.
Sinabi ni Fasappresident Bob An-duiza na “mind-bog-gling and deeply dis-turbing” kungpaanong isang lihamlang ni Mendoza angnagtulak sa Hukumanna bawiin angpasyang narating“with finality” at “nofurther plea shall beentertained.”
“The Filipino pub-lic should stand wit-ness to this travestyof justice. The law isbeing mocked in thiscase,” ani Anduiza.“This is really very, very dangerous.”

Shalala badmouths DaianaBy Dolly Anne Carvajal
D AIANA Menezes is hurtingbecause of Shalala.
“Justbecause Iresigned
from the midnight radioprogram I cohost withhim, he has been sayingthat I’m unprofessionaland all,” the Brazilianbeauty laments. “I loveradio but the late timeslot was killing me. I’mnow under observationbecause I’m underweightand overworked. It’s sadkasi I consider Shalala asone of my ninongs in thebiz.”
Daiana’s boyfriend,TV director GB Sampe-dro, comes to her rescue.“Ayoko na sana magsalitakasi we work in one net-work, but sobra na. Iheard Shalala evencursed me and Daianaon the air but it was ataped episode so it wasedited out.
“He avoids me duringshow biz affairs. If he’s notguilty then he should feelfree to approach me. By nowhe should know ethics inhosting.”
Defense gameShalala’s manager, Noel
Ferrer, comes to his defense.
It’s really between Shalalaand Daiana. Shalala was notsuspended from Juicy lastFriday. He was absent be-cause he had to fix his pass-port for Talentadong Pinoy’sshow in Dubai. I really hopethey patch things up soon. It’s just a miscommunicationproblem.”
Is it a case of being lost intranslation for the Braziliancharmer and the Pinoy come-dian/TV host? Show biz issuch a small world to staymad at each other.
Time outAn ABS-CBN insider told
me the network is not tookeen about giving KC Con-cepcion a project anytimesoon because her previousshows didn’t meet expecta-tions (mediocre ratings).
I find that rather strangebecause KC has wit, spunkand charisma. She has count-less endorsements and is def-initely out of her famous par-ents’ shadow. Perhaps shejust needs the right vehicleand the proper timing. I readKC tweeted that she’s havingthe time of her life in hersecond home, Paris. It’s onlytime out but not time’s upfor Papa Piolo’s girl.
