INTRODUCTION

In life we often don’t realize how valuable our voice is as a woman. We play

the submissive role and handle our emotions behind closed doors. We never

confront our fears out in the open because it will make us look weak. We are

in relationships that don’t grow, being emotionally dependent on men that

don’t love us how we need to be loved. We often sacrifice the very essence

of who we are to try to make relationships work that were over a long time

ago.

Michelle Obama said, “As a women, we must stand up for ourselves. As

women, we must stand up for each other. As women, we must stand up for

justice for all.” To what measure does a woman have to go to gain the sup-

port of other women? They say all “men” are created equal, but what about

women?

I will explore and share my life challenges, relationships, failures, mistakes,

along with what other women have shared with me. There is a lot of hidden

pain, regrets, dark secrets and ill memories deeply rooted in all us as women.

Everyone has a story but how many women do you know that are willing to

share?

What do we really need men for, why do we carry so much emotional bag-

gage, how can we be fulfilled if we’re single and successful? All of these

questions will be answered throughout this book. Never remain in a relation-

ship because of emotional reasons; life is to be lived with grace and dignity.

Hours of research, observing and the hours continue to pass by effortlessly.

I’m confused by the reports on CNN headlines; I adjust my mindset accord-

ing to what the world displays as acceptable. Radio loud but the song has no

meaning. What can I obtain in this new day? Should I continue to build my

legacy or rely on my resources to carry me always. Voicemails and text

messages along with emails filled with extra things I could do without.

Sifting through my contacts trying to find the best for an upcoming project,

but leaves me empty with regret. I glance at my calendar and see a date with

“him’ approaching only thing that made me smile this morning.

Typical morning in my life, without the constant ringing of the fax machine

with incoming solicitations. Business from around the globe, affiliates and

partnerships building daily effortlessly because I’m already branded; my

companies are. I usually arise asking myself, How can you make money

today?” “How can I build my brand bigger than it already is?” thinking while

I sit in silence has served beneficial to every aspect of my success to this

very moment.

Men in many industries and sectors have served as my mentors without

knowing. Silent I would be in the background observing how they

communicate with others, the connections they have, their lifestyle, what

makes them upset, what feeds their ego and most of all how they respond to

and value my relationship with them. It doesn’t sound so kosher does it,

however this is what has allowed me to grow and learn throughout my

career.

With each opportunity I become more humble, more focused, more thankful

without letting the onset of success consume the essence of who I am.

Compositions full of resources, opportunities, global connections excite me

due to me being a sapiosexual. I never apologize for my insatiable thirst for

knowledge. A man is worth more to me if he can learn to respect my mind

before he requests true intimacy with my body. Make love to mind

constantly; a natural aphrodisiac.
