Warm Up: Think about a Time when you wanted something so badly that you were; willing to work For it. How long would you be willing to work? Could you save your money? What kind of work would you be willing to do?

and western Arkansas. He was born in 1913, so

the experiences he retells would be from

the 1920’s.
