Recently I have been sent to southwest China to cover the events and interview the locals. The drought there really draws my attention . dried up wells and rivers can be found everywhere. Millions of people have difficulties getting safe drinking water. Besides, many students are worried that their families will not be able to afford their living costs. As a student, we should try our best to help those who are making an effort to combat the drought. To show our love to them, we can help them by giving water as well as donating other resources. As far as I am concerned, the severe drought is a result of environmental damage and global climate change, so it is necessary for us to realize the importance of protecting the environment . what’s more , we should make good use of water and remember not to waste any of it in our daily life.
