Updates (Sep 29) Update (Oct 21)

* KPI analysis for all 4 Iganga sites done and no blocking

seen on the KPIs except for Walgogo sector 1 had high

SDCCH drops

* No internal alarms on any of the 4 sites

* Drive Test team did a lengthy drive in Iganga and

observed blocking on kasokoso (all three sectors) and

walgogo (sector 1)

* SDCCH capacity has been increased for kasokoso site

and is now under observation.

* Configuration for switching onto half rate has been

changed from 40% to 10% utilization

* Identified congestion on A interface and 1 STM has

been added. WIP to add 2nd STM (completion 30 Sep 1st

half) after which traffic will be observed in busy hour.

Iganga has shown considerable and

sustained improvement. Also confirmed by

Regional Sales Team

* 2G Network Availability for Iganga on Sep 6 was 99.25%* 2G Network availability for Iganga for Sep 1 - 28 was

99.29%

* 3G Network outage totalling to 2612 mins effecting 4

(3G) sites was reported on Sep 6.

* After installation of some battery banks all 2G sites

have been much more stable since Sep 22.

* Iganga has shown considerable and

99.72%

* Network availability of Iganaga has been stable and

further improved since Sep 22.

* Congestion issues in Iganaga on 2 sites have been

worked upon and should so improvement from Sep 30.Under Observation and will be confirmed from ASM on

ground.



Regional Sales Team

* 3G on Iganaga_C earlier had availability issues but now

improved and has been stable since Sep 14. Still under

observation.



Regional Sales Team

No specific network issues over the weekend. Network

availability in Mbale 97.90%. WIP to further improve on

this

2G Network availability for Mbale for last 10

days was 99.84%. These sites are under

close observation

Apart from ATC_IUIU Nkoma sector_A has TCH Blocking,

the rest of KPIs look ok. Esclated to field team but

appears the sector may need an upgrade. Discussing with

all stake holders

KPI's for all Mbale sites are attached. Drive test team is

also in the region to verify.

Various actions ongoing, Shared in a separate tracker

(GETC TFO) fuction was deactivated on

Huawei MGW after which improvement has

been noticed. Still under observation

Troubleshooting ongoing for kamuli site. Further updates

to be shared by Sep 30

Last 10 days availability is 98.06%. However

ZERO minutes of outage since October 17.

Nasuti, team will be sent, but note the site is located in a

poor area as the Nasuti TC is in a valley.

Best optimization possible has been done.

NW availability for 4/6/8 Sep was 100% for Mbale

Mbale Resort indoor coverage not good and needs an

idoor site. Mbale resort falls in null sector

Availability of Kumi site for first two weeks of Sep was

poor. After being worked upon the availability from Sep

14 - 28 has 99.25%

Test calls in Soroti have reported no issues. The scenario

reported could have possibly been one of issues where

subscriber may have moved into poor coverage area

SDCCH redimensioning has been done for entire

network. Under observation

Nothing picked up in various test calls. Testing continues.
