REACHING ABROAD

We continue to expand and

Von Lotzbeck is now available

in Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm and

Malmø. Furthermore we have a

new International Sales Manager

on board, Helle Satake. Helle

has several years of experience

within jewellery sales export for

companies like Pilgrim and Sense

of Copenhagen. We are very

pleased to have her on board in the

process of making Von Lotzbeck an

international brand.

We have from the beginning of the

year been very busy with fairs. For

the first time we exhibited at the

trade show Formex in Stockholm

and at the Gifts and Interior Trade

Fair in Oslo where we have gotten

great response from new exciting

clients. During fashion week we

exhibited for the third time at

NEWS

Jewellery Room and hereafter at

the Spring Fair in Birmingham.

Beginning of March we will be at

two jewellery fairs in Vejle, Denmark

and Utrecht, Holland where Marie

von Lotzbeck will take part and

present the new designs.

D/SYN

Last year we started a collaboration

with a new retailer in Belgium, Inge

Van Noppen. Inge is the founder

and manager of the lifestyle store D/

SYN and sells Von Lotzbeck as the

only jewellery brand in her shop. As

a result of our collaboration which

has gone beyond all expectations,

we have gotten four new retailers in

Belgium plus one in Beijing. Due

to the excellent results we were

asked to design a certificate for our

official retailers. We hope to give out

more certificates as Von Lotzbeck

continues to expand.

MARIE VON LOTZBECK

Marie von Lotzbeck has had great

success with throwing herself headlong

into starting her own business and

creating the Von Lotzbeck Jewellery

brand, but why did Marie in the first

place fall in love with jewellery making

and creating?

A question she’s asked herself many

times and the answer always seems

to lie in her self-belief and knowing

everything will work out in one way or

the other. Marie doesn’t let doubt or

fear stop her from developing - rather

fail and learn.

And where does this confidence and

courage come from?

“I think it’s in my personality, my

family history and the way I was

brought up. I’ve always known that

where there’s will, there’s a way. I had

to believe in myself and what I do

because if I didn’t, then who would?”,

Marie says.

For Marie, jewellery design is part

of highlighting women’s individual

strengths and style: to give them a

piece of her story and a symbol of

power to believe in themselves and in

what they do.

In this early spring issue of VL Quarterly we dip into the

subject of diversity and style. Winter is almost over, soon it

is time to store away the winter coats and look through the

hidden boxes with spring clothes. We all have our individual

style and through clothes one can easily create an image

without having to follow the latest fashion trends. Von

Lotzbeck jewellery is timeless and a great way to style and

modify a look by mixing designs in new different ways. At

the moment we love polished jewellery and the finish they

add to a style. Later on in this issue we present a collection

of polished jewellery together with brand new designs in the

Lash Collection.

We have been out on the streets of Copenhagen to

photograph 4 interesting women and will show you jewellery

suggestions to go with each their individual style. It has been

a pleasure and we are excited to show you the results of our

street style images on the following pages.

The Lash collection is inspired by the pulsating life of

London. The shadows from the city skyline looking like

gigantic eyelashes, being shut for the night only to wake

up for a new day and make the city shine in the reflections

of the sun. Graphic simplicity are the keywords for this

small collection which now have grown a little bigger

At the end of the year we moved into our new studio on

Snaregade in Copenhagen. The bright spacious location

is designed by Norm Architects whom we also continue

to share studio with. Snaregade is the oldest street in

Copenhagen with cobblestone paving and narrow houses.

The change of scenery and nostalgic surroundings have

been a great start to the new year and a great source of

inspiration for new ideas and creativity.

In January we were invited to exhibit at Jewellery Room.

Jewellery Room is hosted by Goldmind Communication

as a press event during Fashion Week and took place for

the fourth time. Twenty-one remarkable designers who

have shown great excellence were invited to showcase

their work at Jewellery Room which this year took place

in the beautiful and inspiring surroundings at Hans

Christian Andersen’s Fairy-Tale House in Copenhagen.

We are very proud to have been taken part three times

and it was a great honour to meet Her Royal Highness

Crown Princess Mary at the opening and to show her our

new polished jewellery.
