Career: Head of the Powertrain Components business unit at Continental Powertrain (from September 2018 to September 2019) Head of the Sensors & Actuators business unit at Continental Powertrain (from July 2010 to August 2018) Head of Smart Sensors at Powertrain Sensors & Actuators business unit, initially at Siemens VDO, then at Continental (from February 2006 to June 2010) Until 2006, he held various positions at Siemens Semiconductors in Munich, which later became Infineon Technologies AG Started his career as product marketing manager, then key account manager and global sales director for chip card ICs before taking over global business responsibility for chip card ICs and later on mobile phone ICs.
