SELECTED DHS RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Co-Chair of National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) interagency subcommittee of the NSTC Committee on Science (other co-chairs: NSF SBE Directorate AD and NIH OBSSR head) Lead DHS representative to the NSTC Committee on Science Subcommittee on Forensic Evidence. (Worked closely with heads of USSS,CBP and ICE forensic science laboratories in efforts to improve forensic science in the United States.) On behalf of the United States and DHS co-organizer/leader of 6 nation international working group on research sharing to advance community resilience. (Principal author/drafter of final reports for two meetings) Human Factors/Behavioral Science Division (HF/BSD) lead in drafting official HF/BSD Security Classification Guide.
