An Entrepreneur Dipayan Banerjee completed Integrated B’tech and M’tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India in 2007. He holds a patent for Design and Development of “Desktop Artificial Hip Joint Simulator” as a part of the Master’s project. He has previously worked with “Larsen & Toubro” briefly in the RADAR section of Heavy Engineering Division & co-founded “Anthelion Technology Pvt. Ltd” in 2008. Presently he is managing all aspects of the company as the Director & C.E.O. The company is in the business of Engineering Visualization. Mr. Banerjee also founded “Sambhavami Foundation”- an initiative to create a platform for the people in the bottom of the economic pyramid to come up with ideas and convert them to enterprises. He also works closely with “Enterprise Development Institute (EDI)” a subsidiary of BNCCI and has been invited to give more than 13 Guest Lectures in institutes and colleges in Bengal

on “Entrepreneurship as a Career” for students. He has taken over the financial responsibility of the “Children’s home” in Ullon, Lakhikantapur for the organization “VSSU” where 37 kids are supported and motivated.

Lexically, a Project is a temporary endeavor designed to produce a unique product, service or result with a defined beginning and end, undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial

change or added value. Therefore Project Management is the process and activity of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals in scientific or daily problems taken-up in the form of a Project. Today’s civilizations are built and managed through Projects – taken up by Governments, Corporations, Organizations and Individuals.

In almost every case, we find one thing in common. Constraints of Resources – Man-power, Money and Time. So an effective Project Management is all that, in practicality, defines the success of the Project and its Purpose.

Project Management starts from the moment the Project is conceived. And this is from where Visualization plays an important role today throughout the course of Project Management. It is very important to create a Visual Impression of the Project conceived and effectively bring out the Value Proposition behind the Project. At this stage a near-natural 3D Animation plays the key role to create a simulation of the Idea perceived in the mind of the Creator of the Project. Next the project moves through various stages of planning and approval and Visualization can help the various stakeholders to correctly represent their thoughts visually to give a final shape to the Idea.

Visualizing the Milestones and progress of the project with respect to time, through Animation is a great way to communicate today.

Now as the project begins, the greatest challenge is managing Human Resource – Training them on the Processes; Quality Aspects; Health, Environment & Safety issues. Labours, Team Leaders, Managers, Engineers and Management – all need to be in the same page, focused with the Milestone-based Target deadlines, Procedures & Protocols, Quality aspects and Cost factors. Visualization is the God-send today for modern projects to communicate in a fast, effective and correct manner. Not everyone has the time and intellect for understanding Project Planning documents. But a visual film with Animation, Graphics and Videos with a voice in the background speaks crisp & effective to hit the right chord among all persons involved.
