Hi, I’m Jessi
A little about myself…
I was born and raised in Franklin, Kentucky.
I graduated from Franklin Simpson High School
in 2010. While I was attending high school, I
was a cheerleader and on the dance team.
College Life
I am currently attending the University of
Kentucky, majoring in Elementary Education.
College Work Experience
During the spring semester
of 2011, I interned at
KegFLY.
At the beginning of my
sophomore year I started
working at the Dean of
Libraries office.
Campus Involvement
I am a member of the Delta
Zeta Sorority and Tom’s
campus club.
Through Delta Zeta, I have
been able to volunteer for our
philanthropy, Lexington
Hearing and Speech Center.
Strengths
I am an includer.
I am positive.
I am empathetic.
I am consistant.
I am persuasive.
Career Interests
I When I was in
high school, I
taught dance to
the younger girls
at my studio. That
experience helped
me decide what I
want to do with my
life.
Teacher
I hope to become an elementary school teacher.
I would like to have 1st or 2nd graders, but
anything from K-5 would be great.
Later in life…
After I teach school for a couple of years (2
or 3), I want to go graduate school and get
a degree for Library Science. Ultimately, I
would like to be a librarian at a public
library.
