VISUAL MERCHANDISING INTERNSHIP
We are opening up internship opportunities for individuals who are looking to their first step into the job market and/or the Visual Merchandising sector. This 4 week placement gives excellent exposure on Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, and Interior Styling and offers a multi-faceted experience in which creative and technical skills are applied within a project based environment. The internship job responsibilities will include working closely and assisting the VM team with all aspects of the design and styling projects, interpret briefs turning ideas into reality, translating catalogues and promotions into real designs for all displays, windows and room-sets in all OKA showrooms. The internships are based in Chelsea, London and you will also be able to travel to other UK locations. Key requirements to apply:
Have an eye and flair for interior styling.
Strong creative skills.
A keen interest in furniture and home furnishings. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Perfect command of English.
Be ready to be hands-on.
Have good DIY skills.
Be an excellent team player with a can-do attitude.
Able to multitask.
Presentable, friendly and creative.
The 4 week program is not remunerated but interns will benefit from:
Reimbursed within-London travel expenses.
A valuable hands-on work experience; apply classroom knowledge and strengthen skills; utilise professional tools; gain confidence in the VM and Retail Styling sector.
