Hi folks,

By the time you receive this newsletter, our church will be a

week into our sermon series, Foundations: Blueprint for Faith.

If you have not found your way into a small group for this study,

it is not too late. Pastor Tamara and I are very excited about

what this study presents as well as what it offers.

One of the greatest struggles that faces the modern Church is

found in the fact that many desire to

experience promise and power of the

Christian Faith, and yet, there are far too many, (new to faith as well as

long time church goers), who have

never enjoyed much of what God

offers. This study is designed to help

us as a church create pathways for

transforming our lives and maturing

in our understanding of God’s great

love for us.

No matter where we are in our

spiritual journey, God continues to

invite us to a more personal walk,

and this study provides each of us tools to discern areas where we

might grow as well as steps that will

allow us to go deeper.

Once again, I just want to encourage

you as we seek to be all we can be

for God and God’s kingdom. God

has great plans for this Church.

In Christ,

Foster Care: Church Can Make a Difference

The faith-based community and the child welfare

system have pledged to work jointly in service to

children and families in contact with the child wel-

fare system. Every church can have a part to show

the love of God to those in crisis. From adoption

and fostering to helping a foster child have a warm

bed and clothing to helping put broken families

back together the Texas Child Welfare System

needs the faith- based community.
