HOW TO: MAINTAIN AN ORDER (CHANGE SPECIFICATIONS)

VISTA LETS YOU: � Modify the specifications of an order once a vehicle has been
pre-ordered for a customer or allocated to your retailer by Volvo.
� Access the Maintain Order screen in several ways:
anytime you see a pencil icon next to a vehicle,
you can select it to maintain the order. You’ll also
go to this screen after configuring a pre-sale vehicle
for a customer.
� Use these screens to check the status history; assign a
contract to a customer; get pricing; view specifications, the
contract, or the contract history; complete a vehicle handover, and more.
The following is another example of a path to the Maintain Order screen.
1. From the Order
tab, select Find
Orders.
2. Go to the Status
Criteria and click
the plus sign to
expand it. Then,
under Status Point,
select Order
Confirmed in both
the From and To
drop-down boxes.

3. An order list
matching that
criteria will then be
displayed. Click on
the pencil icon to
Maintain the
vehicle.
4. Roll over any green
text for a pop-up
description of that
item. To modify the
order, click the
Configurator
button.
5. Make your changes
and click OK to
return to the
Maintain Order
screen.

6. Back on the
Maintain Order
screen, leave the
ASAP Indicator
box checked.
7. Assign a customer
to the contract
(see separate job
aid on contracting).
8. When the expected
delivery date shows
at the top, click
Confirm. The order
has been placed or
modified.
