Windward wicker collections are made from high quality synthetic wicker weave and extruded aluminum frames. This extruded resin is made with mildew deterrents, UV inhibitors to protect against sun damage and is water resistant. Each collection has it’s own unique multi-toned, textured, natural look. Wicker frames are imported, all cushions (except for Iris) are made to order at our factory in Sarasota, FL.

Windward® uses the highest quality materials available for outdoor furniture manufacturing. All of our aluminum furniture is manufactured with commercial-grade, domestically milled, extruded aluminum. Many of Windward’s extrusions are proprietary and have internal reinforcing ribs to provide the additional strength expected when purchasing quality, domestically manufactured furniture.

To ensure lasting color and quality, our frames are sandblasted to create an ideal bonding surface. This preparation ensures your powder coat frame

finish will not peel or chip. It is also an environmentally friendly alternative to other frame preparations used by other manufacturers.

In 2012 Windward proudly introduced Marine Grade Polymer (MGP) into its product lineup. Since then it has expanded by adding new collections and table options each year. MGP is a domestically made material that was originally designed to hold up in salt water environments on boats without fading or breaking down and eventually made the natural transition into outdoor furnishings.

We have updated our Cape Cod Sling collection to the new Comfort Height dining, which raises the seat height by two inches. The result is a dining chair that is easier to sit down and get out of. The Cape Cod Collection can be paired Hartford, Newport or Plain table tops. Comfort Height is a great option for commercial applications and retirement communities.
