INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
The following list shows the proposed installation procedure, tools, access devices and timing once the gangway and stairs have been upgraded and the supports manufactured.
1.- Draw the supports positions in the wall using a lifting platform and an optical level by two persons. 2 hours.
2.- Drilling top anchors holes for each support using a lifting platform, drilling machine and vacuum machine, works must be done by two persons. 2 hours.
3.- Pre-installation and alignment supports, supports will be lift up by the cavern crane, access to the anchors will be done by lifting platform, works to be done by 2 persons plus 2 crane drivers. 4 hours.
4.- Once the supports alignment drilling bottom holes and anchoring each support, access by the lifting platform, 2 persons. 2 hours.
5.- Lift up the gangway by the cavern crane and placing it over the supports, adjustment tasks and bolted operation access by the lifting platform, 2 persons plus two crane drivers. 8 hours.
6.- Once the gangway is properly bolted to the wall supports lift up the stairs by the caver crane and bolted to the gangway access by the lifting platform, 2 persons plus two crane drivers. 8 hours.
The works for the gangway and stairs upgrade as add cross beams, barriers modification and painting will be done in surface, works could be done by 2 persons and some supports from 2 crane drivers during the handling operations. 24 hours.

INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
The following table shows a first proposal for manufacturing, upgrade and installation for the new Gangway.
Supports manufacturing: 2 days in August or September
Gangway and stairs upgrade: 3 days in August or September
Installation in the cavern: 3 days in September or October *
(*) Dates should be decided in agreement with the LHC shutdowns and other LHCb works.
