My journey as a

Christian has not been

easy. I have had many

trials and tribulations, it

seems like I have carried

many crosses. Yet, each

time, I became stronger

and ready for the next

obstacle. I continue time

and time again to press

toward the mark because I

want to meet Jesus and live

forever with Him.

I believe that every

Christian should rejoice in

his/her trials and

tribulations knowing that

we will be rewarded when

we meet Jesus at the

rapture. It is for this very

reason that we become and

remain believers. Meeting Jesus

at the rapture and awaiting the

Great White Throne of

Judgment will culminate our

journey and the beginning of

Jesus’ reign on earth.

The rapture came from the a

4th century Greek word called

“harpadzo” meaning “caught

up”. Upon hearing the shout of

Jesus we will be “caught up” in

the twinkling of an eye! Those

who are “dead in Christ” will

be the first to see Christ. Then

all of those Christians, who are

still living, will be taken up to

be with Jesus. We will be

changed from “flesh” to

“incorruptible heavenly

bodies” (1 Corinthians

15:52).

While we enter the

season of Thanksgiving, we

must remember that no one

knows the day or the hour

of Jesus’ return. Are we

ready? Have we done the

things that we are required

to do? We must be thankful

for our trials, tribulations,

and all of the blessings that

we have received. We must

love and care for each other.

We must keep our eyes on

the reward of heaven and be

doers, and givers for Christ.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Book of Month: “Using Your Foundation for Elevation”

THE WORLD NEEDS

A little more kindness and a little less

creed,

A little more giving and a little less greed;

A little more smile and a little less frown,

A little less kicking a man when he's

down;

A little more "we" and a little less "I,"

A little more laugh and a little less cry;

A few more flowers on the pathway of

life,

And fewer on graves at the end of the

strife.

Always Remember Poem

Always remember to forget

The things that made you sad

But never forget to remember

The things that made you glad.

Always remember to forget

The friends that proved untrue.

But don't forget to remember

Those that have stuck by you.

Always remember to forget

The troubles that have passed away.

But never forget to remember

The blessings that come each day.

People all over the world have experienced

various sicknesses and tribulations. They feel

that there is no one to whom they can turn. This

book is a testament that God is the one and only

deliverer for all mankind. Faith as small as a

mustard seed is all that is needed for God to

manifest Himself in our lives. These poems and

short stories are meant to encourage and inspire

all that read this book. The poems reveal that

Jesus is the instrument for our deliverance and

God provides eternal salvation for everyone.

The poems reveal that Jesus is the instrument for our

short of the God's glory, but deliverance and forgiveness

are always forthcoming. When you place God as the

foundation of your life, you become capable of elevating

yourself into the destiny He has in store for you. Believing

As she ran she once again began to

"Dear Lord, please don't let me be

Prayers

A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running

as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible

class.

As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let

me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!"

As she was running and praying, she tripped on a

The beginning or as some people may

say, the origination of anything tells us how

long, where, or why things have been done.

Thanksgiving is a time of showing appreciation

to others who have blessed you in some way.

On the other hand, a pondering question is

where it all began?

Thanksgiving, some say, originated

when the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock,

but I think it goes even further back to biblical

times. There are countless times where people

have given thanks to those who have blessed

them in some way. When Israel (Jacob) ar-

rived in Shechem, he gave a burnt offering to

God for bringing him to the lands of his fa-

thers. Hannah, the mother of Samuel, was

thankful to God for giving her a baby that she

desperately wanted. Therefore, after he was

weaned, she gave him back to God.

The Israelites also showed thankful-

ness to God for bringing them out of bondage

and into the Promise Land. We all should be

thankful for the gift of Jesus who was born and

died for our sins. He came to earth to give

others life. You see, when the Pilgrims came

to Plymouth Rock , they gave Thanksgiving a

date, but they did not start it. It has been

around for a very long time and it is not just

limited to that day. The act of being thankful

should be on going, but unfortunately, its not.

So the next time someone asks you how

Thanksgiving originated, tell them it started

during biblical times. It was finally given a

name on Plymouth Rock.

country is in chaos believing that aliens had

abducted their family and friends. Nevertheless,

this occurrence was viewed as a negative

incident for the world. Yet, we as Christians

know that when that incident occurs, it is the

rapture. This is actually an “unexpected good

consequence”! Why? This is the occurrence for

which all Christians have been waiting.

Don’t you want to be caught up in twinkling of an eye with Jesus? If you are not

saved in Christ during this time, you will

suffer the atrocities that will occur during

that time. God is so faithful and merciful

to all of us. So much so, that you still have a

chance even during that time to repent, and

accept Christ. Why wait until it’s almost

too late? Repent of your sins, and accept

Christ today!

Something To Ponder

VISIONARY “GOOD NEWS” GAZETTE

Unsaved Versus Saved

As I looked back on my life

as an unsaved person, I did not

know how I made it without God

in my life. Life for me as an

unsaved person was a life of

struggles and bumping into walls.

I had little or no understanding of

life. I had no one to depend on,

no one to confide in, and no

covering of Jesus Christ. I did not

know who I was, who I belonged

to, or what my purpose was in

life?

Simply put, I was living in

darkness and I did not know God.

I knew it had to be more to life, but

what was it? I did not know.

My parents were not saved.

However, as they got older they

gave their life to the Lord. Despite

this, they were loving parents.

Although my parents were not

saved, they taught us to be

responsible, to respect our elders,

and to respect ourselves. Dignity,

integrity, morals, to be a giver, and

your word is your bond were

valuable lessons taught by my

parents. My siblings and I also

learned some of it by watching

Well, as I got older something

was still missing in my life. I was in the

world, but not of the world. I started

attending church on a regular basis.

Then, I decided to give my life to the

Lord. My life gradually took a 360

degree turn for the better. I love the

Lord; I am covered under the blood of

Jesus. I have insight and foresight. I talk

to him and can depend on the Lord. His

email is always working and his phone is

never busy or turned off.

God is there in the mist of my

trails and tribulations. His words give me

comfort. Praying helps relieve the

pressures of life. Going to church helps

to encourage me as I am in the presence

of the saints. Also, singing and listening

to gospel helps me. I have a good time

just me and the Lord! Maybe the issues

did not go away, but I just seem to be

able to deal with it better. It is not as big

as I thought it was. God gives me

wisdom and dreams. I have tried living

without him, but living with him is much

better. He also gives me joy and peace.

I know in the past, there were some

Christians who were still doing the same

things they were doing before they were

saved. That is because they have not

revelation of God’s love and grace.

They had no understanding of

God’s system, no renewing of the

mind, and they were not convicted by

the Word. Saints, it is time to stop

playing church. God sees you in the

back, in the corner, and in the dark.

DAH, God lives in you. Jesus is on

his way back and everyone needs a

relationship with God.

In these last days, it is important to be

saved, and in a Bible based church

under a true man of God. You have

tried everything else, so now try the

best, JESUS!

“Where there is no vision, the people perish . . .” Proverbs 29:18

Sharing the “Word of God” and letting His light

shine before men is an essential part of this ministry.

Visionary Christian Ministries through the production

of this monthly newsletter desires to reach ALL

people, saved and unsaved!

The “Word of God” is not a secret for Christians, it

is the road map that God ordained for ALL people.

Sharing, encouraging, laughing, praying, and most of

all, loving one another is a must for this ministry.

We hope that God’s eternal love seeps through to

the reader as they read and enjoy this newsletter.

Remember, your future cannot change for the

better, without Christ!

God Bless You!

God desires for all of us to be

saved? It is not His desire that any

should perish. Nevertheless, He

also gave us free will. Our Father

desires us to make the choice of

following Him or not.

Have you made that choice?

When you take your last breath,

where will you spend eternity?

Will it be Heaven or hell? The

end result will be based upon the

choice you made!

It is my hope that you chose to

follow God. If you make that

choice today, you have to

acknowledge that you are a

sinner. Then you must repent of

your sins. You must acknowledge

that you believe that Jesus is the

Son of God who died on the cross

for you. It is as simple as

that! God hears you and God Saves

you!

If you have not made that decision

today, please make it soon.

Tomorrow is not promised to you

and waiting until later may be too

late!

Eternity is too long to be without

God!

Scriptures for Salvation:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned,

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is

death; but the gift of God is eternal

life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 1:12 But as many as received

him, to them gave he power to

become the sons of God, even to

them that believe on his name.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at

my voice, and open the door, I will
