Aim
• Do the three R’s accurately
– Recognize, Refract, and Refer !!
- Recognize blinding conditions
- Refract accurately
- Refer appropriately
Objectives
To provide skills, attitudes and knowledge to :
• Detect common blinding eye conditions
• Refraction and dispensing glasses
• Counsel patients to go to higher centres for management of
complex eye conditions
• Conduct school eye screening and community eye screening
independently
