Welcome to the second issue of our VISION –

2016 Activity Update.

This updates presents highlights of our

activities during the period of January 2010 to

May 2010. Our important activities during this

period includes the following:

VISION – 2016

'Vision 2016', is an ambitious plan to bring about

transformation on the social landscape of the

country. The plan envisages the establishment

of multifarious institutions across the country,

with a strong human resource of committed

volunteers and recognized community leaders.

It serves the purpose of humanity and the

Almighty as well. It is dedicated to going beyond

charity by enabling the people to their fullest of

extent. Its True North lies in making a society

having peace, prosperity and justice for all. It

calls for a society with all equality for the

maximum of the masses at large. It enables the

have nots to access the resources for a total

change in their lives and hence promotes the

country to step into a new world. It helps

people meet their social and spiritual needs by

their own efforts. It strives to build trust and

relationship with the needy people whose

prosperity and security are ever at stake. The

program intervenes the needs of the day when

one-thirds of country's population is hard to

meet the basic amenities for its servility. It is all

about a total upliftment of the Indian society

with a view to vertical mobility of every

individual and group of people. 'Vision 2016'

has an estimated budget of Rs. 5000 crore, to be

pooled from philanthropists and funding

agencies.

Up thrust areas of the program are Education,

Healthcare, Micro Finance and Women

Empowerment. Target beneficiaries are

defined by Sachar Committee Report, i.e. Indian

minorities. But focus goes to minorities residing

in northern half of the country i.e. from Assam

to Gujarat. The Program is divided into different

phases, i.e. Phase-1 – till March 2011 and Phase-2

– till March 2015 and so on. The Phase-1 costing

Indian Rupees. 388 million, proposes funds and

opts for regular check and balance policy to

ensure the best possible utilization of the

released funds.

HUMAN WELFARE TRUST

AREAS OF WORK

The Human Welfare Trust (HWT) has undertaken

the task of translation of this vision into a reality.

The Trust is an umbrella body with several

distinguished and experienced community

leaders on its board of trustees. To begin with,

the HWT has created a vision for itself, set a goal

and fixed targets for 2016 AD. It will pool the

funds, provide the human resources, translate

the programme from paper to the ground,

monitor the progress and evaluate the projects

with course correction at every level.

?HWT is an umbrella body with several

distinguished and experienced community

leaders on its board of trustees.

?It has 50 NGOs as its affiliates spread over

20 states, implementing more than 125

projects.

?The number of beneficiaries so far are well

above a million.

EDUCATION

ESTABLISHMENT OF PRIMARY

SCHOOLS

Four new Schools have been inaugurated in

the State of Uttar Pradesh. They are located in

Jhansi, Sahar, Mianganj and Kurawali.

Eight more places have been identified for

establishing primary schools and and are

expected to be sanctioned in the Month of

July, Insha’Allah. INAUGURATION OF THE SCHOLAR

SCHOOL AT NEW DELHI

The Scholar School was inagurated by Janab

Shafi Moonis sb, Former Vice President of

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. The School is situated at

Dawat Nagar, New Delhi. Classes have started

at Primary level and it is planned to upgrade the

school to Senior Secondary level providing

High Qual ity Education with Is lamic

Orientation. The Inauguration Function was

Secondary School for Boys at Maha Kaushal

Colony, New Ramnagar, Jabalpur, Madhya

Pradesh. The School will run in collaboration

with our local affiliate Anjuman Noor-ul-Islam.

One new Vocational Technical School, Vision

Institute of Technology (VIT) is recently

inaugurated by Prof. K. A. Siddique Hassan in

attended by various distinguished scholars like

Dr Akhtar Siddiqui, a renowned Educationist in

Delhi and Director, National Council for

Teacher’s Education, Engineer Mohammad

Saleem, President, JIH Rajasthan etc.

One school in Uttar Pradesh has been adopted

under the Scheme of Capacity Building of

Existing Schools. Under this Scheme, the Vision

2016 provides a school with a maximum

amount of Rs. 10 Lac for infrastructure

development

Rampur, Assam on 31st May 2010. The Institute

is being managed by Insan Welfare Society,

Rampur. At present two trades like computer

Training and Dress Making and Fashion

Designing will be imparted.

Classes commenced from January 2010 in

other two Vocational Technical Schools. One in

Malda, West Bengal, which was earlier

inaugurated in December 2009.

Another Vocational technical School, Falah

Vocational Training Centre at Bilariya Ganj,

EDUCATION

Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh was formally

inaugurated on 11th February 2010.

The Vision 2016 issued the second installment

of HWF MERIT SCHOLARSHIP to around 300

Students from the Northern half of the

country. In addition to the Merit Scholarship,

during the period of January to March, a total

organized in association with Jamaat-e-Islami

Hind and Students Islamic Organisation of

India and attracted participation of students

from different schools of the city.

In Maharashtra, 60 students were provided

with necessary counseling and guidance for

various competitive examinations like IIT, CET,

IAS.

As per the Vision-2016 program for promoting

poor students to school education, an amount

of Rs. 11,00,000 is sanctioned for distribution of

School bags in eleven northern states of the

country. The said amount has been released to

states but the bags will be distributed in July

2010 when schools reopen after summer

holidays.

The Vision 2016 is looking after around 2000

orphans in different states of India and is

providing food, education and health care for

theses children. An amount of Rs. 750/- is spent

on their education, food, accommodation and

healthcare.

SCHOOL BAG DISTRIBUTION

ORPHAN CARE

Addition of Floor In Gulshan-e-Atfal

(Orphanage) at Bilariya Ganj, U. P.

of 824 students were provided with Financial

Help on the basis of need for pursuing post

matriculation, under graduate and post

graduate degrees in different disciplines of

Social Sciences and Humanities.

A Career Guidance Camp was organized on

14th April 2010 at Anjuman Islamia High School,

Gohalpur, Jabalpur, M. P. This Camp was

AL-SHIFA SPECIALITY HOSPITAL

AND RESEARCH CENTRE

The Construction Work of Al-Shifa Speciality

Hospital and Research Centre is going as per

schedule. Brickwork is complete for first floor

as well. An underground water tank of 1 lac litre

capacity is under construction.

Septic Tank construction work is 20%

completed. Granite Flooring work is 85% done.

Floor Tiling is 30% done. AC Work is 80% done.

False Ceiling work is 60% done. Plumbing, Fire

Fighting and Electrical Works are 50%

completed.

Plaster work of Basement ang Ground Floor is

complete. Contract has been awarded for first

floor also. If everything goes as per schedule,

the basement and ground floor will be

completed by 31st July 2010. Insha’Allah.

launching program held at the Islamic Centre,

Patna was presided over by Prof. K. A. Siddique

Hassan Sb, General Secretary of Human Welfare

Foundation. 40 doctors from various parts of the

state attended the program. Some of the

doctors also shared their experiences and

thoughts.

MOBILE MEDICAL UNITS &

AMBULANCE SERVICES

All our hospital offer free or low cost ambulance

services. Apart from the hospitals, stand alone

Ambulance services are being provided in some

areas.

Two new Ambulances, one each in Bihar and

Uttar Pradesh, are purchased recently. Prof.

Siddique Hassan inaugurated the ambulance

service in Patna on 30th March 2010. A new

Mobile Medical Unit is also sanctioned for Uttar

Pradesh recently.

MEDICAL CAMPS

MEDICAL SERVICE SOCIETY OF

INDIA FORMALLY LAUNCHED IN

BIHAR

During the period of January to May 2010, Vision

2016 organized more than 50 free medical camps

and has been able to provide the clinical services

and free medication to 11,562 patients suffering

from skin diseases, acute respiratory infections

and diarrhoeal diseases resulting from poor

access to healthcare, unhealthy life style, lack of

awareness on health and hygiene and non-

availability of proper water and sanitation.

Medical Service Society of India (MSS) was

launched on 31st of March 2010 as part of the

VISION 2016 program in Bihar state. The MSS is

established to work in the field of health care in

an ethical and professional manner. The

BLOOD DONORS’ GROUP, BLOOD

BANKS AND DRUG BANKS

AL-SHIFA BLOOD DONORS CLUB OF

PATNA HONORED ON BIHAR DAY

Blood Donor’s groups are active in as many as 18

states of India and are providing services to the

masses without any discrimination. This is in

addition to our Blood Banks and Drug Banks

operative in 10 Hospitals. During the period of

January to March 2010, a total of 234 patients

availed the services of our Blood Donor’s Group.

A Blood donation Camp was organised in the

state of Bihar under the aegis of Al-Shifa Blood

Donors’ Club on February 7, 2010. 35 people

including some Muslim women donated blood

on this occasion.

For its remarkable services in blood donation in

Bihar, the Al-Shifa Blood Donors’ Club was

presented with a memento on the occasion of

Bihar Day, 21st March 2010. The state health

department organized a mega blood donation

camp at Model Blood Bank and invited all

organizations and groups active for blood

donation and banking. The work of Al-Shifa

Blood Donors’ Club was appreciated. Al-Shifa

Blood Donors’ Club has so far organized eight

blood donation camps.

MEDICAL AID

Apart from the services of our 80 Medical

Centres in various states providing medical care

to thousands of poor patients every day, the

Vision 2016 also helps needy patients with Cash

A s s i s t a n c e f o r t h e i r m e d i c a l n e e d s .

Approximately 1,000 poor patients from Andhra

Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra,

Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh

and West Bengal benefitted from this scheme. A

total amount of Rs. 8,12,585 was spent on this

account in above-mentioned states during the

period of January to March 2010. Figures from

other states are not available at the time of this

update.

An important step was taken by our Maharashtra

unit by helping 16 poor and needy Heart patients

get assistance from the Government schemes to

the tunes of Rs. 14,00,000/-. Free counseling was

also provided to more than 900 patients in the

state of Maharashtra.

Target beneficiaries of this project are from the

neglected most strata of the society. Cycle

Rickshaws are provided to these people as

interest free loan with easy repayment options

so that a cycle is maintained to help more and

more people.

Some beneficiaries have already repaid this loan

to the Vision and these funds are again being

utilized to extend services to other needy

persons.

More than 100 Cutting and Tailoring Training

Centre are being run in different Parts of the

state. At present a total of 2142 women are being

trained in these centres.

A new Centre for Cutting and Taioring is recently

inaugurated in the state of Assam.

SELF EMPLOYMENT AID

RICKSHAW DISTRIBUTION

The number of Interest Free Societies has

increased from 328 to 332. During the period of

January to March 2010, a total number of

1,99,603 persons availed interest free loans

worth Rupees 3,83,73,738 from these societies.

Apart from these interest free societies, 13 micro

finance institutions are also in existence. Most of

them are working among women folk. To work in

the field of Micro finance a separate NGO named

“Sahulat” is formed in March 2010. Details of this

NGO are given in Micro finance section.

382 people were provided with financial support

for small self employment ventures. Total

amount spent on this account is Rupees

9,40,364.

Self Employment Aid Scheme is basically meant

for poorest of the poor people in the society who

are on the verge of becoming a target of Hunger.

It aims at helping them star a small business to

support their livelihood. Amount of Aid Ranges

from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 5000/- under this scheme.

Some 50 Cycle Rickshaws and Thelas were

distributed among the needy poor in West

Bengal, Assam and Uttar Pradesh during the

period of January to May 2010.

LIVELIHOOD PROJECT WITH

QATAR CHARITY

In the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, eight

needy women were provided with Sewing

Machines and One family was provided with a

cow, which will help the family secure an income.

It helps us much to have a livelihood, improving

their miserable conditions.

This project was sponsored by Qatar Charity and

was implemented by Vision 2016 team in co-

ordination with Kerala chapter of Jamaat-e-

Islami Hind. It aims to help beneficiaries become

self-reliant and have a dignified livelihood.

EMPLOYMENT

VISION 2016 ADOPTS A POOR BLIND

FAMILY IN UTTAR PRADESH

Vision has adopted a blind family from Uttar

Pradesh's Mau district , which was fed up with

their Poverty and the burden of their five blind

children. It is to be noted that this family has

sought permission for mercy killing for their

entire family. A delegation of Vision 2016 visited

the affected family members and assured them

to fulfill their basic requirements. The family is

being provided with regular monthly support.

Expanding its network of para-legal social

activists, national civil rights group, Association

for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) organized its

training workshop in Rajasthan.

Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Director, APCR in his key

note address on “establishment of justice in

contemporary India and our role”, urged, “To

ensure the peace in the society, we have to be

the part of the process to ensure justice”. “We

can't think of a peaceful society without ensuring

justice in the society as injustice breeds chaos

and uproar”, he asserted. He further said, “Even

to guarantee the development for all, we have to

ensure the just distributive system.” He called

WORKSHOP ON PROTECTION OF

CIVIL RIGHTS IN JAIPUR21st March 2010

APCR is actively involved in creating legal

awareness in the society specially among the

Muslim population of the country. It has

organised several important workshops,

seminars, training sessions in the very short

period of time and is being now recognized as

one of the major legal aid agencies in the country.

Some of the important interventions by APCR

during the period of January to May 2010 are as

follows:

Given the gravity of the situation whereby

Muslims are being implicated most of the time in

fictitious criminal cases including ones related to

terrorism, the Association for Protection of Civil

Rights (APCR) decided to build an all-India

structure – from village to district to state capital

to Delhi – of civil and human rights activists and

para-legal workers who could offer assistance to

hapless people ignorant of criminal laws and

police procedures.

To discuss the issue and give a final shape to the

structure, APCR organized a three-day workshop

of its chapter convenors and state office bearers

in New Delhi. They discussed a mechanism

APCR oragnized a seminar on Communal

Violence Bill at U.P. Press Club, Lucknow. The

Seminar was attended by prominent civil rights

activist and lawyers from the Lucknow City.

Human & Civil Rights Defender’s Resource

Manual has been prepared by APCR for human

rights and civil rights activists. The Manual was

released in August 2009. In May 2010 translation

of this manual was published in Hindi and Urdu.

Translation work in Tamil and Malayalam is

completed and will be published soon.

26th March 2010

APCR, in association with MPJ and other NGOs,

oragnized a public meeting over Communal

Violence Bill 2009 at Victoria School Hall Mahim

Mumbai. Hundreds of people from every section

of Society attended this meeting. Justice

Hoshbet Shuresh, Advocate Y.H.Muchhala

(Chairman APCR), Father Rodricks, Dolphy

D'souza(Bombay Catholic Sabha), Mohammad

Siraj President MPJ, Dulip Bhansot, Maulana

Athar Ali and Adv Saumya addressed the

gathering and made them aware of lacunas

which are there in the proposed Communal

Violence Bill 2009. All the speakers informed the

people in brief the consequence and damages if

the above proposed Bill is passed in present

form. The Public meeting completely rejected

the Communal Violence Bill in present form.

SBF AWARENESS PROGRAMMES

FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

Society For Bright Future organized Awareness

Programmes on Disaster Risk Management in

five different Schools of Jamia Nagar area in

New Delhi. These programs were organized with

s u p p o r t f r o m t h e O f f i c e o f D e p u t y

Commissioner (South Delhi). Schools were given

training for Disaster Preparedness and

Response.

A total number of 1947 students, teachers and

other staff members from following Schools

attended the programmes :

1. Milli Model School

2. Garden Public School

3. Shaheen Public School

4. Ganga Dayal Haiti Bal Charitable School

5. Saifi Public School

TRAINING WORKSHOP IN

HYDERABAD FOR DISASTER

PREPAREDNESS10-11 April 2010

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Andhra Pradesh State

Chapter has recently formed a Specialized Relief

and Rescue wing. A two Day Convention-cum-

Traning Workshop was organized by IRW in

association with the Society for Bright Future

(SBF) on 10-11th April 2010. Around Hundred

Volunterrs were provided with the necessary

training on Rescue Methods during a disaster.

The training included modules on Emergency

Medical Aid, Physical Fitness and Alertness,

Firefighting and Disaster Preparedness.

SBF has planned to organize a National level

Volunteer core comprising a minimum number of

100 volunteers from each state. SBF will organize

similar or more advance level training workshops

for the members of the volunteer core.

These awareness programmes included modules

on Disaster Risk Management supported by

Plays, Mock drills and lectures. Evacuation maps

were also prepared for the schools.

The Vision 2016 responded immediately after a

devastating Tornado hit the states of Bihar,

Assam and West Bengal in the month of April

2010. The Tornado left more than 200 dead,

around 1,000 injured and made almost half a

million people homeless as a result of complete

devastation of 1 lac homes across these three

states.

Emergency food kits and materials for temporary

shelters were distributed among the affected

population. Cash assistance worth Rs. 3 Lac were

also provided in these states.

BIHAR, ASSAM TORNADO

VICTIMS

KOSI FLOOD RELIEF UPDATE(Work Done During the financial year 2009-2010)

?Pre Board Coaching are being provided to

the students of class Xth at Six places. More

than 2000 students have availed services of

these free coaching institutes.

?Treatment of 8,000 persons.

?5 Free Dispensaries.

?125 Houses are constructed. Another 100

are under construction. Total 1000 Houses in

plan.

?Installation of 300 Tube wells and Hand

Pumps at different Places.

?Mass marriage Programme at three places in

which 136 couples got married. Six couples

belong to Non-Muslim Community.

?4 One-Teacher Schools are being run and

two of them serve breakfast to the students.

?Friends Youth Club at 10 places nconnecting

1000 youths.

?Volunteer core of 130persons.

?3 Tailoring and cutting training centres

providing services to 250 unmarried girls.

?One Self Help Group of 8 Youths, provided

assistance worth Rupees two lac to

establish a poultry farm. Half of this amount

is given as loan. Beneficiaries are depositing

15% of their profit with us on account of loan

repayment. This venture is successfully

running and is in profit.

research, establishment of microfinance

cooperative branches at ten places and setting

up administrative and managerial units of the

NGO during the preparatory year 2010-11.

The idea of launching the national NGO was

actually mooted by Prof. K A Siddique Hassan,

General Secretary of the Human Welfare

Foundation as part of the Vision 2016 which has

envisioned a multi-pronged development plan

for socio-economically backward families of the

country. Prof. Hassan was elected as the

President of SAHULAT MICROFINANCE SOCIETY.

A Workshop on Interest Free Micro finance was

organized at Moradabad on 21st February 2010.

Participants of the workshop were given

necessary information required to run an

Interest Free Micro Finance Institution. Micro

Finance Task Force Chairman Mr. Arshad Ajmal

presided over this workshop.

WORKSHOP IN MORADABAD

NATIONAL NGO FORMATION MEET

ON INTEREST-FREE MICRO FINANCE

A meeting of the “desirous” Sponsors of a

national NGO on Interest-free Microfinance was

held in India International Islamic Cultural Centre

at New Delhi on 28th March, 2010. Twenty one

eminent persons from ten states (Kerala,

Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh,

Maharashtra, Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Uttar

Pradesh and Delhi) attended the meet. The

meeting was chaired by Mr. Sherif Ahamed Cadiri

from Kerala.

After detailed discussion and deliberations on

issues relating to socio-economic upliftment of

poor mass, it was unanimously resolved to

launch a national NGO to be registered under

Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, in the

name of “SAHULAT MICROFINANCE SOCIETY”.

The Society shall be established to provide

interest-free micro-finance options for removing

socio-economic disparities and to achieve justice

and equity for educationally and financially

backward sections of the public at large.

MASS MARRIAGE PROGRAMME

IN ASSAM

Mass Marriage of 95 couples from different

rural places of Assam were solemnized on 30th

May 2010 at Manisha Marriage Hall, Guwahati

under the aegis of Human Welfare Foundation

and Assam Falah Society. In the programme

dignitaries like Dr. Nazrul Islam, Hon’ble

Minister, Minority Affairs and Civil Supply, Mr.

Akon Bora, Hon’ble MLA and former president

AGP, Mr. Abdul Khaliq, MLA, Assam, Prof. K. A.

Siddique Hassan, General Secretary, Human

Welfare Foundation, New Delhi, Mr. P.I.

Haneefa, M. K. Farook from Trivandram, K. M.

Najeeb from Malapurram, Abdul Latheef P. K.

from Kaloor, Kerela, Prof Ataur Rahman,

Guwahati University, addressed and offered

blessings to the newly wed couples.

Emphasizing the ideal method of Marriage, Dr.

Nazrul Islam said that such programmes will be

able to eradicate the ugly practice of dowry

and will decrease useless expenditures

incurred in modern society. The Nikah were

performed by Maulana Baharuddin Ahmed

Qasimi, President All Assam Qazi Association.

The programme was first of its kind in the state

of Assam.

HAND PUMP PROJECT

BLANKET DISTRIBUTION

During the period of January to May 2010 some

30 Hand pumps were installed in the state of

Assam. 300 Hand pumps were also installed in

the state of Bihar during this period.

Blankets were distributed among more than

3000 poor families from Bihar, West Bengal,

Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya

Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand.

MASS MARRIAGE IN BIHAR

Human Welfare Foundation New Delhi,

organized a mass marriage programme for Kosi

Flood affected people in Bihar. 66 pairs including

6 non-muslims tied their knots in a grand function

organized in Arariya on 22nd January 2010.

Marriage ceremony was attended by several

distinguished personalities.

Prof. K. A. Siddique Hasan, General Secretary of

the Human Welfare Foundation graced this

programme with his presence and said “We are

committed to serve the weaker and neglected

sections of the society. This Mass Marriage

Programme is also a part of our efforts to fulfil

this commitment and is an important project

under the Vision 2016 programme.

A similar programme of Mass Marriage was also

organized earlier in 2009. IN that programme

some 69 Couple tied their knots. Each couple is

provided with Rs. 10,000 cash as a gift to help

them start a good marital life.

VISION 2016 DISPLAYS AT

PRAVASI BHARTIYA DIWAS 2010

Vision 2016 participated in Paravasi Bhartiya

Diwas Exhibition held on 7-9 January, 2010 at

Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi to introduce itself to

the Indian Diaspora. The stall was inaugurated by

Mr. Vayalar Ravi, the Union Minister for Overseas

Indian Affairs, Govt. of India. More than 500 NRI’s

from U. S. A, Canada, Singapore, Mauritius, South

Africa, Indonesia and Gulf Countries, etc visited

the stall and they were briefed about the

activities going on under the aegis of Vision 2016

Programme. NRI Delegates expressed lauded

Vision activities and also pledged their kind

support to the venture.

The dignitaries who visited the stall or were

introduced with the Vision 2016 included Mr.

Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, Jammu &

Kashmir, Mr. Ashok Chawan, Chief Minister

Maharashtra, the Industry Minister of Madhya

Pradesh etc. Mr. P. Md. Ali Galfar, Mr. M. K. Yusuf

Ali were among the promiment NRI’s who visited

our stall.

done on this occasion. Annual reports of these

organizations were presented in this meeting.

The director of Vision 2016 program Jb. Abdul

Jabbar siddiqi said that we need to strengthen

our relation with masses. General Secretary of

the Human Welfare Foundation Jb. K. A. Siddiq

Hassan sb concluded the meeting with his final

words.

It is to be noted that Vision 2016 organizes weekly

and monthly meetings on regular basis to keep

track of its activities.

Renowned Islamic Economists, Dr. Umer Chapra

and Dr. Monzer Kahf visited the Delhi Office of

Vision 2016 and were briefed about Vision

activities by Prof. K. A. Siddique Hassan Sb.

The Social Service Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

organzised a two day Review cum Training

Programme for the state office bearers and

Vision 2016 Co-ordinators on 28 February - 1st

March 2010.

Apart from the review of its activities in the field

of Social Service and Planning for 2010-2011,

some experts, like Prof. Zubair Meenai and Ms.

Neelam Sukhramani from Social Work

Department of Jamia Millia Islamia, were invited

to conduct training on topics like Project

Management, Fund Raising and Public Relations.

The Vision 2016 is looking after around 2000

orphans in different states of India and is

providing food, education and health care for

theses children. An amount of Rs. 750/- is spent

on their education, food, accommodation and

healthcare.

We have planned to distribute another 100 Rickshaw Vans by the end of this Financial Year.

Target beneficiaries of the Rickshaw Distribution Pproject are from the neglected most strata of the

society. Cycle Rickshaws are provided to these people as interest free loan with easy repayment

options so that a cycle is maintained to help more and more people.

We have planned to distribute a minimum of 10,000 Iftar kits during this Ramadan. These kits will

contain a month's worth of ingredients to feed a family of 4-5 persons.

Our goal is to get the community involved in supporting families-in-need during this holy month of

that Project Ramadan will also create awareness on poverty issues among the general masses.
