Login Process

• Enter the username and password you selected when you registered for the conference.
• Your username is included in the email you received to let you know the Virtual Conference was open.
• If you do not recall the password you chose, please click the “Forgot Password” link and enter your email address.
• Password reset instructions will be sent to you by email.
Lobby & NavigationThe Lobby provides access to the main conference areas.
Navigation menus top & bottom are consistent anywhere in the conference.
Top takes you to different conference areas.
Bottom brings you home to this page, opens your communication center or briefcase, or takes you to the Help Desk.
Complete Your Profile• To enhance your interactions with other conference
participants, please take a moment to complete your Profile.• Details that you provided with your registration will already be
completed in your profile.• You can choose what to make visible in your public profile,
and if you would like contacts from other participants sent to your email.
• You can also add a photo or one of our avatar icons.
My ProfilePlease select the “About Me” button on the My Profile page to add a photo (or one of our icons), add a personal message, and choose your preferences about contacts from other participants.
Don’t forget to scroll down to Save Changes.
My Profile – Communication CenterCommunication Center lets you view received and sent emails and vCards as well as view previous, pending and missed chat sessions.You can also view participants who want to Connect with you so they are notified when you are online.
Webinars
Webinars provides access to all of the live presentations.As the presentation time approaches you will see a countdown timer to the session start time, and the Add Reminder button will convert to a button to Join Now.
#ColgateTalks – Your Language!
• Exhibit booths have been arranged to indicate the language of both the booth staffers and the materials available.
• From the Exhibit Hall & the Directory please hold your mouse over a listing to see the language spoken in the booth.
• Categories tabs in the Resource Center enable you to quickly access materials in your preferred language.
Exhibit HallThe Exhibit Hall allows you to access the various language booths, as well as the booth for Colgate Europe.The booths contain many materials and videos in the various languages and will be staffed for questions and other networking on October 22, 2016.
Individual BoothsOn entering a booth you can see the available staff and a welcome message in the top banner.The “Click to Chat” area allows you to engage with the booth staff.Many booths will have a highlighted video for you, and other content in the tabs.
Language Directory
The Language Directory is another quick access method to get to the booths and materials for the supported languages.
Networking LoungeThe networking lounge allows you to interact with other conference participants as well as Colgate staff.The circled area will show the images of those currently in the networking lounge.Messages to the group can be submitted below, or click an individual to request a 1:1 chat session.
Individual Chats To chat 1:1 to Colgate staff or another participant, click their name in the group chat or their icon above.Use “Post” to leave a message board post, or the communication icons below their image for other optionsFor Chat, us the dialog bubble and hit Start Chat to send the invite.
Individual Chats The participant will receive a pop-up message about your invitation.After they accept, you will see their icon appear in the Users area, and the notice they have joined in the Chat area.You can add more participants to your chat with the Invite button next to the chat input area.
ResourcesResources provides quick access to available content within the #ColgateTalksenvironment.Use the Category tabs at the left to access specific language materials, or general conference information (in English).
Your Briefcase Your Briefcase (access through My Profile, or the icon on the bottom navigation bar) contains all the materials you choose to Save from the Booths or the Resources area.When you choose to Download the system will put all the content into a Zip file for quicker downloading and ask you where to save this file on your system. You can download materials as frequently as you like.
TriviaUnder the Resources Menu you can also access the Trivia Game, and the Leaderboard to see how your performance compared to others at the conference.You will get 10 questions per game, with 4 answer choices each, and a bonus for answering quickly. You can also play more than once.
Help DeskOn October 22 the Help Desk will have staff on hand to answer any questions on the Virtual Conference.Prior to the 22nd, you can review the Computer Tips and FAQ for information. If you have trouble entering the Virtual Conference please email [email protected]
