WP 7 Overview WP 7 will work out the strategy, planning, and

monitoring of the Co-LIVING dissemination, exploitation and standardization.


WP 7 Overview Task 7.1: Dissemination strategy Develop and monitor the execution of a dissemination

strategy Identify relevant and efficient mechanisms of

dissemination Develop, monitor and update a dissemination plan


WP 7 Overview Task 7.1: Dissemination strategy Dissemination will be undertaken by all partners and will

include: Web page Newsletters, brochure and publicity material creation and

distribution Participation in international conferences and exhibitions Organization of “open doors” days at the trials sites Organization of at least one workshop by ORBIS


WP 7 Overview Task 7.2: Exploitation plan and Business

strategy Exploitation plan: to attract both commercial and industrial

interest in the project’s technology and results at a European and an international level

Business strategy: to define the products that are likely to be exploited; input to develop a market analysis.

Market analysis: will incorporate all relevant market key figures and put together variables to obtain a clear picture of how further commercialization should be achieved.


WP 7 Overview Task 7.2: Exploitation plan and Business

strategy Cost study: to make an estimation of costs and resources needed

to implement different results from the project in respective markets

Development of shared strategies and individual business plans for the most promising products

Development of an IPR directory listing and updating all items of knowledge relating to the work of the project (both pre-existing know-how and results developed in the project).

standardization.


Objectives Ensure extensive and active dissemination of project

results Development of an exploitation plan preparing the

ground for a successful commercialization of the project results considering the socio-economic context of the project – both in the way research is carried out, and in the business strategy for deploying project results

WP 7 Expected results Promote project concepts, approach and results

and creat awareness as well as and set the foundations for exploitation

Attract both commercial and industrial interest in the project’s technology and results at a European and an international level

Align the work of the project with the relevant standards of interoperability and open interfaces

achievements of the project to their company


Planning of activities Task 7.1 Dissemination Strategy

18 publications of project achievement in international scientific journals: IEEE Pervasive, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments, etc.

Participation in 1 major exhibition (i.e. ICT conference) during the last year of the project partners

Industrial partners will present project achievements in at least 2 international or national industrial fora or exhibitions

All partners will produce articles for popular science magazines and newspapers (estimated 10 articles and participation in 3 shows broadcasted nationally)

Collaboration with other projects and initiatives: project partners will disseminate project results to other R&D consortia or CAs where they participate, by requesting to participate in events that these consortia organize [i) on-going IST projects (IPs): Persona, SOPRANO, OASIS; ii) upcoming IP project in call 7.1.b) that will provide a common platform for AAL applications in EU; iii) AAL Association (www.aaliance.eu); iv) projects executing within the forthcoming CIP Ageing Well call]
