LUCKY NUMBERS

The Lucky Numbers theme for Fall is music. Please bring some-thing “musical” for the auction. Use your imagination. We are going to display the auction items & sell tickets for the auction both Saturday & Sunday. So be sure to bring your item first thing Saturday morning—to Leadership. The drawing will be held on Sunday, after the meeting.

There are over 483,000 kids in the foster care system. These children have little more than the clothes on their backs. Most are traveling from home to home with just a trash bag. Many don’t even have a toothbrush. Comfort Cases was founded with a mission to provide the essentials to these brave children on their journey to find home. Comfort Cases provides a suitcase or backpack filled with personal care items for children in the foster care system as they move from home to home.

We will have a representative from Comfort Cases at Leadership to talk to us about this great organization. If you are coming to Leadership, I would like to ask you (individually or as a Chapter) to consider bringing a donation for Comfort Cases. I would love to be able to present them with a donation from the VSC—to support this worthy cause. Won’t you please help?? They can use any of the following items: Small suitcases, duffel bags, back packs, pajama sets (with tags), blankets, toothbrushes and toothpaste, stuffed animals, athletic shorts, sweatpants, hair brushes, combs, deodorant, lotions, soaps, coloring books & crayons, pens, pencils,

journals, or monetary contributions. Learn more at their website: http://www.comfortcases.org/

Please join with me in Congratulating these chapters

on this amazing accomplishment!!
