Every team will be oered a space every edition of the Newsletter to submit something funny... write about their game... whatever... and since we’re doing a newsletter every Tuesday of every week, you have plenty of time to come up with something! If your team doesn’t submit anything, and isn’t in the newsletter, talk to your captain!

Ideas for Team Submissions When I say, submit something for your team, here are some ideas: • Play by plays of the game • Document the debauchery at the bar - i.e. describing someone’s amazing acting skills hobbling across the bar with a “sprained ankle” just to Ice a teammate. ] • Draw pictures!!!!! • Favorite quotes, poems, song lyrics, movie scripts, YouTube video, or motivational speeches! • Email chains from the morning after . • Funny pictures of you, your team, or something random on the internet • Give your team member awards - drunkest, loudest, person with the least shame, best o the face catch, etc.! • Anything. Really. Someone on your team is creative.

Submissions are due EVERY Monday by 7 p.m.

TEAM WRITE-UPS

Wiff It Good

They havenʼt any news to report!!!!WHAAAA!

Sh*ts and Wiffles

Game Two vs. Charm/Colie's Team. Are you kidding me?? we are the hard luck team on the beach, for thethird official game in a row, we lost by 1 run... I blame the leaderof the organization... and his lineup making skills. Overall, we arefiguring out this game of ridiculous hops and wind aided home runs. Weare finally playing defense, hitting the ball, and giving everyone arun for their money. Unfortunately, we just can't seem to come up withthe big hit, or close out a game. With a couple weeks left in theseason, we should be able to put it all together, and a great chanceto squeak out one (non-forfeit) win. Top Performers: Zach Sheller hada clutch Bomb to tie the game up in the 3rd inning (after a great callby the umpire on a runner who was NOT outside the baseline). WhileNick Archer not only had a 'no-doubt' homerun but also aninside-the-park home run. Jessica Tocci who was on base three times, will no longer be pitching for us... she got smoked twice by balls hitby Nick, take it easy big guy... great game by Victorious Secrets theyhave a great group of players.

TEAM WRITE-UPS

Victorious Secret (7) vs. Make It Rain (16) Well we can do it with 6 or 7, the trick is figuring out how to win with 12. I think we went into Sundays' games thinking we were "MONEY" since we finally had a full squad. Overall, our energy was down and we just didn't bring it. Although we had some sweet plays in the field and had some rips at the plate, we still came up short. Victorious Secret (2) vs. Sandy Balls (9) Down from our first loss ever, we just couldn't pull it together and were handed our second loss. Plus, I don't know about anyone else but I was a little intimidated since they have the Homerun King, Mike Mars a former Roscoe's Chicken N' Wiffles player. We got people on but left them stranded, at least 10 base runners in all. Sandy Balls jumped ahead early with 2 runs in the first and really capitalized with 5 more runs in the fifth. It was a great time playing against my old teammates from Roscoe's Chicken N' Wiffles. Victorious Secret (11) vs. Sh!ts and Wiffles (10) "Back, Back Forth and Forth," just like Aaliya's song says, that was this game. They'd get 0, we'd get 0. They'd get 2, we'd get 2. They'd get 4, we finally got 5. This went on and on and it was intense being on defense trying to make the outs. Luckily, we were able to pull out a win today. I'm looking forward to a re-match! -Colie

Smack My Beach Up

Last weekʼs theme was winning, this weekʼs was F-O-R-F-E-I-T-I-N-G! Thatʼs what we get for being the oldest team in the league-we have all the moms on our team. And with Sunday being Motherʼs Day, I made the executive decision to forfeit the two games. Yeah, losing sucks, but I didnʼt want to come across as an a$$hole and make my mamaʼs feel pressured to play. But really, when you think about it, we came out that day as WINNERS- -we didnʼt get to wiffle, but we got to spend some quality time with our children, mamas and families. Yeah, it was a damn good day! Congratulations to Make It Rain and Nannerpus and the Fishsticks on your wins!

Nanerpus & the Fish Stix

WELL... We had enough players, but it was a sad win b/c Smack My Beach Up was notthere to bring it!... We got in some good practice time, but it ended up not beingenough to hold our own. We got it togetherat the end of the game, scoring 4 of our 7 runs all at the end :( TRY, TRY AGAIN WESHALL!!!! What a fun season though!!!! ps...kristi will try not to throw the bat this time, lol

Wieholics Anonymous Unfortunately we had to forfeit both our games due to lack of players. I like to thank Sh*ts and Wies for lending us a couple of their players and we were at least able to get our wie x on and scrimmage each other. If only we had our team there I think we could have played an outstanding game! Andrew Haas

Sandy Balls

Multiple ScoregasmsIt was a big double-header on mothers day and the team played well despite a devastating loss in the first game to Sandy Balls. Multiple Scoregasms played a solid defensive game but could not contest against the big sluggers of Sandy Balls who hit what seemed to be a home run at every opportunity. This however did not discourage the team in the second game and the bats came out against Notorious Wiff. We changed up our batting order and defensive strategy and everything seemed to be in sync for a much needed 8-3 win. The team is making progress in leaps and bounds and we are looking forward to another double header next week.

The only thing I was hoping for on Sunday morning was to have enough players to play 3 games in a row. Little did I know that the majority of my team was not only willing to play pretty much all day but also give it all and do their best. It's very difficult to single out some-body in particular. Everybody did an amazing job. Even Tyler Cyrus, who showed up for the first time, contributed to the wins by catching fast flying balls on the 3rd base and hitting a home run. Him and Eddie connected and found spark immediately. Leiah and Joy despite their injuries were better than ever. With her fierce throws Leiah was picking people off left and right. Mike and David were my main home run hitters as usual. They are my Captain America and Iron Man of wiffle ball. Since I mentioned The Aveng-ers, Doug would be The Hulk, cause you don't wanna make him mad on 1st base! To sum it all up

Sandy Balls vs Multiple Scorgasms 31-10Sandy Balls vs Victorious Secrets 9-2Sandy Balls vs Nannerpus and Fish Stix 18-3

Not bad, Sandy Balls, not bad!
