Playing Australia in Australia and playing another country is different. Plus the

Aussies had got used to our bowling which also added to the ODI misery.

Initially we all thought it would India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa but

there has been a fee here and there. Not sure if anything is going to change but

with Sri Lanka playing well and Pakistan also peaking at the right time, the last

four will be a tad tricky.

South Africans are responsible for their own downfall. The way they batted, poor

short selection on pitches where spending time upfront is important let them

down. They will have to work on it to be the favorites we all saw in them.

Australia will definitely be one of the top teams to win it. New Zealand is also in

good form and India if they continue bowling this well have a real good chance.

Its one of those tough World Cup where the margin is very little.

Semi-Final onwards, more than the team talent, much will also depend on how

the team performs on that particular day. Anyone can win it.

Viru also spoke of large scores and attributed a lot of it to new changes of five

fielders inside the circle during the middle overs and batting friendly wickets

alongside boundaries coming in. He gleefully said he would have loved batting

with these changes during his times.

On the personal front, speaking to Radio stations from Noida, Sehwag admitted

its now tough to get back to the Indian side but what they can do is to play well

in Ranji Trophy and wait for an opportunity. He also invited his fans to come

watch him play at the Ranji.
